Salar de uyuni

Salar de Uyuni, amids the andes in southwest Bolivia,is the world,s largest salt flat.Its the legacy of the prehistoric lake that went dry,leaving behind a deseretlike, nearly 11000-km,landscape of bright white salt,rock formation and cactic studded islands,its other worldly expanse can be observed from central incahuasai island .Though wildlife is rare in this unique ecosystem,its harbour many fflamingos.Elevation 3663m,aarea 10582 square metre, depth 130m, fprmation evaporation.
