کچھ ستارے تھے نگاہوں میں
۔

کچھ چاند تھے خیالوں میں

جو چھوڑ گئے راہوں میں

ہم ان کا خیال رکھتے تھے خوابوں میں

ٹوٹے ہوئے تارے رہتے تو ہیں آسمانوں میں

جیت اُن کا مقدر نہیں ہوتی مگر وہ خوبصورت ہیں لوگوں کی نگاہوں میں

TRANSLATION

Eyes seek some stars .
There were moon in the thoughts.
The people who left us in ways .
We used to take care of them in our dreams.
Broken stars live in the sky.
Victory is not their destiny.
But they are beautiful in the eyes of people.
