Good morning every steemains,hope everyone is doing well and good ,healthy in the name of the almighty God.I’m here to participate in the contest in the @Knack4buzz community and the contest is organized by @muhammad-ahmad.

What are the key traits of a good leader
Leadership is the ability to guide ,inspire and influence others towards achieving a common goal and a good leader possesses a combination of traits that enable them to guide and support others effectively.

Vision
Is the ability to set a clear direction and articulate a compelling vision for the future because good leader are visionary focused on purpose and change.

Communication Skills
Clear communication ,confidence and open communication to ensure everyone is aligned and informed because effective communication is a key hence helps leaders and there follwers to change and follow the status qo

Empathy
Understanding and addressing the needs and emotions of others,fostering strong relationships with others for example in Uganda political leadership are selfish and during campaigns people are killed and jailed for nothing.

Integrity
Demonstrating honesty,codes of ethics and consistency in actions and decisions,good leaders have to be consistent in everything they try to do ,for example if I promise to construct a road in my village area and do it that’s honesty but some leaders promise this that they can’t do .there are many traits of a good leader but have explain the most common ones.but others include,adaptability,confidence,collaboration and emotional intelligence•
How does Leadership differ from Management

Leadership focuses on influence,vision and inspiration so that people work towards a common purpose and drive change While Management focuses on planning,organizing and executing tasks to ensure that systems,processes and goals are effectively implemented.

Leadership is goal oriented and it focuses on long term vision , direction in that leaders ask themselves “ Where are we going”? While Management focuses on short term goals and tasks and Manager ask themselves “How are we getting there”?

Why is self awareness important in leadership
Self-awareness is a cornerstone of effective leadership because it enables leaders to understand themselves, their impact on others, and the dynamics of their teams and Here's why it's so important:

Improves Decision-Making
Self-aware leaders recognize their strengths, weaknesses, and biases, which helps them make balanced and thoughtful decisions.

Builds Authenticity
By understanding who they are and staying true to their values, self-aware leaders gain trust and credibility with their teams.

Enhances Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
Self-awareness is the foundation of emotional intelligence, enabling leaders to manage their emotions, empathize with others, and build stronger relationships
