When we talk about emotional intelligence we talk about understanding your feelings and the feelings of others who is around you or those that under your control.

And this is very very important to every leaders because understanding your team will help you as a leader to know how to rule and control those that are in your custody care.

Having this emotional intelligence will help you to have a strong trusting relationship with your team or the people you are leading.

How can leaders manage their emotions effectively?

  • Firstly you have to understand your motions like your weakness and values.

  • As a leader, you don't allow your emotions to control you.

  • A leader does not conclude issues alone you have to hear from your team and know what is their mind before getting in to conclusions.

  • I believe that any leader who wants to be a good leader should be a servant to his people. ( Please don't misunderstand me) a servant in the sense that you have to always make things in order by living by example for your team to follow.

How does empathy enhance leadership?

It empathy enhance leadership because a leader should understand the needs of his or her team,

And living a good example so that others will follow. And this help the team to be well connected to the leader. Any leader who does not know or seek the opinion of his people is not a good and true leader.

Thank you.

Nicely written, you're right. Leadership entails a lot, it's not about being a leader but it's about knowing what the position entails. You have carefully looked at how a leader should manage himself and the people under him.

Great job!

Thank you for honoring my invitation I appreciate.

You're welcome!
