Since it's already the 20th of August I'll just post the solutions to the rest of the puzzles.
In this post, Queen will be abbreviated as Q, King will be abbreviated as K, Giraffe will be abbreviated as G, and Knight will be abbreviated as N. Captures will be abbreviated as x.
Puzzle 1 solution:
1.Gd7 pinning the black queen to the black king and giving black 2 options.
If 1.Gd7 Qe8 2.Nf6 Kf8 3.Nxe8 winning the queen.
If 1.Gd7 Kh8 2.Ng6 Kg8 3.Nxf8 winning the queen.
White wins easily via domination with his extra Giraffe.
Puzzle 2 solution:
- Gd2 forking the black king and queen.
If 1.Gd2 Qe4 2.Ng3 Qe3 3.Nf5 Kf6 4.Nxe3 White's Giraffe easily stops domination.
If 1.Gd2 Qe4 2.Ng3 Qe6 3.Kc2 Kf6 4.Gxe6 Kxe6 5.Kd3 Ke5 6.Ke3 Stopping domination with a win by turn 50.
If 1.Gd2 Qe6 2.Kc2 Transposes into the above line with the same win.
Thus, White wins black's queen by force and stops domination.
Puzzle 3 solution:
1.Nd5 setting up forks and discovered attacks.
If 1.Nd5 Qxd5 2.Gxd5 and white easily wins.
If 1.Nd5 Ke6 2.Nc7 Ke5 3.Nxa8 Ke4 4.Ga2 Stopping domination.
If 1.Nd5 Ke8 2.Nc7 Ke7 3.Nxa8 Ke6 4.Ga2 Stopping domination.
If 1.Nd5 Kd6 2.Nb6 Ke5 3.Nxa8 Ke4 4.Ga2 Stopping domination.
If 1.Nd5 Kd7 2.Nb6 Ke6 3.Nxa8 Ke5 4.Ga2 Stopping domination.
If 1.Nd5 Kd8 2.Nb6 Ke7 3.Nxa8 Ke6 4.Ga2 Stopping domination.
If 1.Nd5 Kd6 2.Nb6 Qd5 3.Nxd5 and white easily wins.
These puzzles were really fun to solve! I hope I didn't miss anything.
All correct, for puzzle three I added promise because my solution was this:
1.Nd5 Kd6 2.Nc7 Kxc7 3.Gb2 forking king/queen
Obviously this solution is a little more complicated, don't know why I missed Nb6. So puzzle 2 probably deserves the 15 RP reward, good thing you got all the solutions, so it works out.
