An Idea to Help with the Burnpost and SBDpotato initiatives(that doesn't screw up the UX)

So I've created a new Community called Share n Burn. The idea behind this Community is that it's exclusively for sharing NON-ORIGINAL content with either @sbdpotato or @burnpost or both as 100% beneficiaries.

Quoting myself from the announcement post.

I honestly think these initiatives are treating the symptoms and not the cause of Steem's price. I think the number one issue with the price of Steem is the poor user experience on Steem, and all of my limited energy and resources will be coming up with solutions to better the user experience on Steem. This is a decentralized platform and we all have different ideas about how to best fix what we perceive as broken. Whenever possible I think it's best to work together in cooperation with each others ideas to increase our likelihood of meeting our collective goals.

Outside of Steem it is generally seen as a positive action for someone to share your content. Since we reward content with financial rewards here, that's obviously not appropriate and we're at a disadvantage to social platforms where sharing is the main draw. Here we can hopefully kill two birds with one stone by filling this Community with interesting content from around the world while simultaneously addressing our economic issues.

So to put it simply, this will be a place for SHARING things you genuinely think are interesting with rewards taken off the table. As soon as the feature goes live this will be easier because I'll be able to set automatic mandatory beneficiaries in the Community so you can just go in, post, and have fun, but for now you need to set these beneficiaries manually. All posts that don't properly set beneficiaries will be muted and potentially flagged.

This way, if one of these posts goes to trending, it will actually be a piece of actual content, but if enough people participate, the votes could potentially be spread out more making it less likely that they'll end up on trending in the first place.

I think this also improves the UX on Steem because if we all upvote something we genuinely think is interesting and it ends up on Trending, that is the system working as intended.

Give it a shot, go in there and share something.

Wow, a super elegant solution to a problem that has been plaguing me from the beginning - how do I share other people's content that I find valuable (assuming the content is not on the Steem blockchain)? Should I be rewarded for having discovered that content? The idea of setting the rewards beneficiary as someone/something that will increase the greater good of the network works for me!
