We're now more concerned than ever about processed foods and how it affects both our body and brain. I'm not denying the dangers but, I believe our habits destroy us far more than processed foods can.
Staring at a screen for hours, staying up late, smoking and inactivity, can carve a terrible life, an unhealthy life that even if you're in your 20s would make you feel powerless.
There was a video of a chair on the top of it there is a pack of cigarettes, a bottle of alcohol, and drugs, and there was a question saying: which do you think of these is the most destructive thing, the answer was the chair.
Having a sedentary life where you sit for 8+ hours, do very little movement, stare at a screen for at least 8+ hours a day, can do too much to your mind and body, and the effect is much worse than you think. The lack of adequate movement is truly destructive to the body.
For people who grew up with the internet as an integral part of their life, it's hard to notice how destructive these habits can be, especially that it can be difficult to realize the consequences early on, but on the long-term they accumulate.
Even my little brother who is 12 years old uses his mobile phone for up to 6 hours a day and sometimes even more, he didn't experience the life we lived when we were his age.
Something like using wireless earphones that are plugged for many hours each day very close to your brain, especially if you listen to loud music, is detrimental, and the list goes on.
I'm sure there is a million other example that I've missed, but what I'm trying to say is: our habits can be far more harmful than processed foods, but imagine if along with all these habits we eat unhealthy food, what would be the result?
