Hello, how are you all? I hope everything is well. Today, after 4-5 months, we went out to eat. It was my dad's birthday on October 5th, but due to an incident that day, we couldn't go out. So, Dad gave us a birthday treat today. There's a new food street near our house. I mean, there were already restaurants there, but it used to be a road. Now they've torn up the road, added boundaries, made it look beautiful, and turned it into an open space where you can take food from multiple restaurants and eat peacefully outside. I liked that; it doesn't even feel like it used to be such a normal area before. Now it's giving off really good aesthetic vibes.
Anyway, we went there, but all the outside seating was occupied, so we ended up eating inside a restaurant. Since the place has become nicer, the prices have also gone up, but we went with a budget in mind and managed to have a nice dinner within that budget. We even had some leftovers. We ordered burgers, loaded fries, biryani, tikka, etc. If I were to rate them, I'd give the biryani 9/10, the loaded fries 10/10, tikka 9/10, but the burger was awful, like 2/10. I mean, I couldn't even understand how they made it so badly. The sauce was all salty and tasteless. We struggled to eat half of it, and the rest we got packed to take home.
Anyway, after we ate, we went out, had some sweet paan, and returned home. Since I messed up my diet today, I went for a long walk afterward and then relaxed at home. My brother's birthday is October 11th, and my dad's is October 5th. So, Dad gave a treat for both of their birthdays. Now we still have cake left, and I’ll give my dad a cake treat for his birthday.
It's these small joys that bring a person comfort. These little moments of happiness are what we should celebrate.
I invite:
