Hello, how are you all? I hope you are well. Today, I’m here to take part in this amazing contest. I like this diary contest. As it is about daily routine, I will share something that happened today.
When I woke up, I first grabbed my phone, just like everyone else. I saw a message from the university about a picnic at Churna Island. I was so happy as soon as I read it! But then, when I checked the date, all my excitement disappeared because the picnic was scheduled just two days before the midterms. Then I thought, let’s go to the university and discuss what can be done.
When we got there, we found out that many students wanted to go, but the midterms were creating an issue. So, we decided that we would talk to the admin. But when we went and spoke to them, as always, they refused. They said they couldn’t reschedule, and the exams would take place two days later, so we should prepare in advance—after all, it’s just about one day, and it won’t matter.
We thought they had a point, but then slowly, more issues started coming up. One friend said her cousin’s wedding is on the same day, and another friend is also busy. So, we all became disappointed, even though they were offering some really good activities like swimming, snorkeling, cliff diving, and many other things. Everyone was excited to go, but now, the whole group’s plan is canceled because of two friends. Now the whole group is praying that the picnic gets postponed so we can all go because we won’t get such a chance again. Plus, we wanted to have a picnic with the university.
We even talked to one of our professors, and he also said this is unfair. So, we have now decided that if we can’t go on this picnic with the university, we’ll go on our own, just like we went to Hawksbay before. That trip turned out to be a very peaceful and great picnic.
The rest of my day was really busy because there was also a futsal tournament at the university, and there was a lot of rush. Teams from different universities had come, and we also sat down to watch the match. Despite the intense heat, all the boys enjoyed the game a lot. What surprised me the most is that it’s already November, yet there’s no sign of winter anywhere, and the heat keeps increasing. It’s so hot that you don’t feel like eating or even leaving the house.
I invite:
Can’t wait for the Charna Island trip! Nothing like a picnic with a midterm waiting the next day… Guess while we're snorkeling, grades might be sinking!
