Hello, how are you all? I hope you are doing well. So, since the wedding season has started, especially in Pakistan, winter season is equal to the wedding season. The number of weddings that happen in November and December doesn’t happen throughout the year. So, because of this, we have already received 4-5 invites, which also include events of my friends. The very first invite was for a university friend’s wedding event.

Now, since it’s quite cold and going out at night for a wedding seems difficult, my father refused, saying it’s very cold and there’s no need to go. But since I have to go everywhere, I insisted, saying, "No, no, Papa, we have been invited, so we must go." Now, one of my friends is getting married in January, and we have to go there as well, which my family remembers. Anyway, since I know how to convince them well, I convinced my father, and almost all of our friends went to the wedding.

But one thing happened, which was that the event was separate. We thought we would all sit together and enjoy it, but later we found out that the arrangements for men and women were separate. Meaning, we girls were on one side and the boys were all sitting on the other side. Anyway, we arrived and sat there, met everyone, and also met the friend’s family. They seemed like a very nice family, and everyone was very nice to us.

We sat there, but we were very prominent because we went to our male friend’s event, so everyone kept looking at us again and again. One reason was that we were laughing a lot and taking videos and pictures, while everyone else was just sitting and talking. Anyway, we enjoyed it a lot in our way because this was the first wedding event we attended with our university friends.

Then we ate food and later went outside and met the rest of our friends, as obviously, they were on the gents' side. We met them, greeted them, and then left for home. But if the function had been combined, it would have been more fun. However, everyone has their own way of doing things, and now the wedding in January will also be completely separate.

But anyway, I really love going to weddings, not because I want to get dressed up and go, but just for the food because I’m a foodie, hehe.
