Hello, how are you all? I hope you are all doing well. My first train travel experience was when I was very young. My grandfather had ties to India as he was originally from there, but he had moved to Pakistan, while the rest of his family, including his siblings, remained in India. Every year, he would go to India to visit his family, and then someone would go to Lahore to receive him upon his return because the train would first stop in Lahore and then head directly to Karachi. Since my father, grandfather, and uncle all work in the government sector, specifically in railways, getting a ticket was never an issue. So, my grandfather didn't worry about money, but he would always take gifts for everyone and bring something for us as well when he returned, especially for me because I was a bit of his favorite. He cared a lot for me.

Now, similarly, once when my grandfather went to India, my father suggested that we go to receive him in Lahore this time. We were little back then and got excited about traveling on a train. So, we took a leave from school and went to Lahore. We were accompanied by my eldest uncle's family as well. But our journey started in such a way that, first of all, some of our belongings accidentally fell onto the tracks under the train. We got so worried there. Then, when we finally got on the train, in the middle of the journey, someone from outside, just for fun, picked up a large stone and threw it at the train. By chance, it hit our window, which was open at that time while we were having breakfast. The stone passed right by my face and flew out through the window on the opposite side. I got so scared; if it had hit my face, it could have seriously damaged it. Anyway, when we reached Lahore and started getting off the train, my brother fell underneath the train. It was only by God's grace that the train was completely stopped and wasn’t moving at all. We were all so distressed; it took us a lot of effort to finally reach there.

Then, my aunt forcefully took us to one of her relatives' homes, which was in a village-like area. When we got there, we fell so ill that we couldn’t even get up. Then, my father suggested that we should stay at a hotel instead, as we couldn’t stay there any longer. We left that strange place and booked a room in a good hotel, which was very nice. We ate our meal in peace and then went out to explore.

Finally, it felt like we had come for sightseeing; otherwise, I was scared of everything happening from the start. Later, we visited Minar-e-Pakistan and saw many famous places. Then, one of my father’s friends invited us for a meal, and we had a lot of fun there too. The next day, our grandfather was supposed to arrive, and he did. That day, we asked him to rest, and then we went out to explore other places. We had many pictures, but now they are all damaged. My main purpose was to share my first train experience, which was very bad for me.
