**🪔 Happy Diwali 🎇**
So Deepawali fell on 31st of October, 2024 and it was Thursday. I woke up by 7 AM and got a call from my friend, Akbar Ali. He asked my for lighting Diya 🪔 at our quarters. I am at home but he stayed there. So I guided him where to put lamp after lighting them. Later my brother asked me to prepare chhath ghat. Chhath pooja is celebrated by worshipping the Sun. We went to the pond bank. The pond name was Sagar pond. Chhath pooja is celebrated on the bank of river or pond. We went and prepared the ghats. It took around one and half an hour to complete the ghat. Then we returned home.
After coming from chhath ghat I took tea and some snacks. Then I went to have bath. After bath I bowed before God and prayed. A few minutes later one of my friend came and we had gossip for an hour then he left. I went to have lunch and then after walking for a while I slept. I kept sleeping upto 3 PM as I had no task. When I woke up my brother asked me to buy some crackers. We went in the market which is nearby home and bought some good crackers Atom Bomb( locally called), Anaar, Fuljhadi, lighter, charkhi, rocket 🚀 etc.
After buying crackers we got ready to prepare rangoli which is made on every Deepawali by us. We had bought some colours and net for rangoli. A few neighbouring girls joined us to help in making rangoli. Within 3 hours our rangoli was ready. Much credit goes to my brother Aman. After preparing rangoli we lighted some diyas and put inside the rangoli where some spots were fixed for diyas only. Passersby were appreciating our efforts and the beauty of the rangoli.
After preparing rangoli we arranged for pooja of Lakshmi & Ganesh. Pandit ji came after 30 minutes and it took around 45 minutes to complete the pooja. Then we were free for cracking fire crackers. We took out the crackers one by one and started burning. Boom and cracking sounds prevailed everywhere. Neighbouring kids were taking part in these celebration activities. They were dancing and enjoying the festivities. The environment was full of joy and happiness.

A little About Deepawali 🪔🎇
Deepawali is celebrated in memory of Lord Ram home coming after winning Lanka and taking back Maa Sita. Citizens of Ayodhya had lighted their homes on that day. According to Hindu calendar it falls on Amavasya in Krishna Paksha of Kartik month.
I invite @deepak94 @riya01 @pinki.chak to take part in this contest.
