Today I feel very happy because I can teach the school students how to install computer applications. Since tomorrow I have prepared the material and steps that I will pass on to them, because I know that this is a very important basic skill for them.
After entering the class, I saw the enthusiastic faces of the students who might not know much about how to install applications. I started with an explanation of what an application is and why we need to install applications on a computer to support our daily work. I also give examples of frequently used applications, such as Microsoft Office, browsers, and other software.
After that, we got straight into practice! I guide them one by one through the process of downloading and installing the application I have prepared. Initially, some students seemed confused when several questions appeared during the installation, such as choosing a storage location or waiting for the installation process to complete. But, after I patiently explained it to them, they started to be able to follow the steps without any problems.
There was a funny moment when one of the students, Dika, almost made a wrong click and installed the wrong software. I quickly told him and we all laughed together. Sometimes things like this really make the atmosphere warmer.
At the end of the class I ask them to try installing other apps at home and make a short report on what they learned.
Today was a day full of challenges and excitement. Since morning, the men's volleyball team that I led had felt the tension ahead of the match between high school students that we would be participating in. All team members gathered on the school field, preparing themselves, and warming up. There was a little anxiety on their faces, but I could feel it—the passion to win this match was burning in each of their hearts.
When we arrived at the match arena, the atmosphere became more serious. The arena filled with cheers from supporters from various schools added to the tension, but also made us even more excited. Our opponent, the volleyball team from SMA 1, was a very strong team. They were already known for their fast play and clever strategies. But I was sure that with teamwork and spirit, we could put up maximum resistance.
First Half
The match began, and I could feel the adrenaline rising as soon as we stepped onto the court. We played a pretty good game at the beginning, but some technical and communication errors left us behind by a few points. Even so, I didn't want the team to lose their spirit. I kept encouraging them to stay focused.
I could see some of our key players, such as Rafi and Dito, starting to organize the game better. Rafi with his strong serve and Dito with his ability to read the opponent's game, little by little began to ease the pressure from the opposing team. However, unfortunately, the first half had to end with a win for the SMA 1 team. Even so, we did not give up easily.
Second Half
Entering the second half, I could feel a significant change in our game. The team started to play more calmly and confidently. Communication between players became smoother, and we began to control the tempo of the game. Our counterattacking power felt very effective, and the fast game that was usually the SMA 1 team's advantage, we could now deal with better.
Every time the opponent scored a point, we immediately tried to reply quickly. I could see the hopeful faces of my teammates. We knew that if we wanted to win this match, we had to fight tooth and nail. And, our efforts paid off. We managed to turn things around and win in the second half by a narrow score. Everyone cheered happily, but I knew that we still had to stay focused for the decisive third half.
Third Round - Decider
The third round was the decider, and it wasn't easy. The SMA 1 team once again showed their solid play, but this time we really worked together as a team. We didn't just rely on individuals, but really played as one unit. I could feel the positive energy spreading throughout the team. When we were 2 points behind, I motivated them to keep playing patiently and confidently. "Remember, we don't lose as long as we don't give up!" I said.
And finally, after a long and stressful struggle, we managed to win the last set with a score of 15-13! The cheers from our friends who were present gave us a great sense of pride and relief. We won, but more than that, we felt the strength of togetherness and a relentless fighting spirit.
Today was a day full of valuable lessons—that victory is not only about who is the strongest, but who is the most persistent and never gives up easily. As the captain, I was very proud to see the struggle of my teammates, and this was a victory for all of us.
Hopefully this is just the beginning of our journey towards greater achievements. SMA 2 Boys Volleyball Team, we can do it!
