FOUR WASHINGTON QUARTERS - SILVER COINS
U.S. WASHINGTON QUARTERS
In terms of minting Silver Washington Quarter Dollar, the U.S. minted them from 1932 through 1964.
These coins are 90% Silver and 10% Copper. Each coin weighs 6.25 grams.
FOUR WASHINGTON QUARTERS
These particular four Washington Quarters were minted in 1945, 1956, 1961, and 1964.
With silver worth about $22.50 per 1 Troy Ounce, the silver content in these coins is worth about $16.
The local coin shop sells these four quarters for $20.
The local coin shop is still charging high premiums on silver coins, silver bars and silver rounds.
Oftentimes, when the premiums are high on silver rounds, these quarters don't have that high premium.
Thus, they are the better purchase because they are a better deal than the silver rounds.
Sometimes, you also get lucky and get a nice quarter with a good date. That's not the case with these four quarters.

THESE four SILVER quarters are STILL able to buy 4 gallons of gas, based on the intrinsic value of the silver. THIS is one major reason why I stack silver.
I have long said that an ounce of SILVER can buy a bag of groceries, as in food staples, such as milk, butter, bread, pasta, or rice. At $15 per ounce last year and $23 now, that still holds true, a bit.
