I have learned that today that out of my coin jar where I collect coins I have found a rare coin. I realized that the coin I have found was 1982 Mint mark Roosevelt dime. I realized that this dime has so much history behind it. I know from school and reading books in the past that Theodore Roosevelt has done a lot for this country. One of the ways he helped improve this country was economically because the country was going through rough times. Franklin D. Roosevelt helped during the time where employment was struggling. For instance, he attack big businesses, proposing a welfare state and supporting labor unions. During this time jobs were not be fair with wages, people were not getting paid for they was being worth and they was working long hours and get less paid. He knew this had to stop so he decided to change all of that. Another thing he did was strengthen the U.S navy because he realized it needed some improvements. During his presidency the U.S Navy went to the fifth largest navy in the world to 3 in the world. The reason why he was on the coin because he was good president he accomplish so much that he deserved to be there. If you ever so a dime its very small coin. it weight less than a gram.

I realized this coin has so much boldness, its very unique and stands out there. I realized that the coin I have its pretty old and I needs to get clean. If you ever find a coin that is worth money always save it and always preserve it because you never know what it can be worth when you want to sell it. As soon I done my research on this coin, I realized that this coin is worth some money. My first impression was since it's from 1982 this coin will be worth at least $1k-2k. I have found out that this coin was worth $300. This is not that bad because in the next few decades it will be worth more money and I would able to get a higher profit. I had to get this out there because I know people out there like coins and they always want to sell them so they can make profit on it or just share it history behind it. I love collecting coins because I just like the way it looks and I hope one day I find one that could make me a lot of money on.

As you can see this is in pretty good condition, you do not see any brown rust on it. I know if I turn this in, I would probably get some money off of it. They would probably give me at least $300-400 because of what it's worth and how old it is. I realized I'm wait a few years and then sell it because I'm trying to get the highest ROI as possible.

I love how this dime look and I like how it stands out from the rest of the coins that are out there. Before you turn in your coins make sure it has the the letter P in it right next to year because that way you know it's official because that way no one can tell you that its something wrong. I made sure that the coin had p symbol on it. This coin for some reason caught my attention when I was looking at it. Its something about this coin that made me want to spread my message and let people know what is going on.

Yes, a rare and valuable coin is always a nice find, jhankins82. Keep an eye out for the Silver version of the FDR dime, 1964 and older, they pop up every once & a while. They are not nearly as valuable, maybe a dollar or two, but still nice to find. Keep stacking.

Nice find... Now, I'm sure to be searching for one, if I ever get around to it...
