My favourite tourist spot (Minar-e-Pakistan)

Tall and proud, Minar Pakistan stands in the heart of old Lahore, a constant reminder of the difficult road to freedom. It was built to commemorate the Pakistan Resolution (Lahore Resolution) passed at the All India Muslim League meeting on 22–24 March 1940 at Minto Park (now known as Greater Iqbal Park).

The resolution passed by the only Muslim party in the subcontinent demands an independent homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent. Azim Iqbal's vision, presented in Allahabad in 1930, eventually came true: "India is a continent of people of different
races, languages and religions. Personally, I hope that Punjab, the North-West Frontier Provinces (NWFP), Sindh and Balochistan will be united into one state.

Architecture of Minar-e-Pakistan

This resolution opened a new path for all the Muslims of the subcontinent and marked a turning point in their lives when they finally got their independent homeland on August 14, 1947.

A beautiful blend of Mughal and modern architecture, Minar Pakistan is the design of Russian-born Pakistani architect Nasruddin Murat Khan. Abdul Rahman Khan Niazi also supported him. The construction of Minar Pakistan started on March 23, 1960, took 8 years and cost 5 to 7 lakhs. Funds were raised through additional taxes on cinemas and horse racing.

The 70-meter tall building offers a breathtaking view of the colorful city of Lahore and the impressive Badshahi Masjid. For those who can't manage the 324 stairs, there is an elevator with a beautiful view. The four platforms represent the struggle of Muslims for their homeland. They are made of four different stones: taxila stone, carved stone, carved stone and white marble.

Minar Pakistan is steeped in history as it is also the final resting place of Hafeez Jalandhri, the author of Pakistan's national anthem. It is not just a monument but it is a symbol of Pakistani resolutions and the construction of Minar Pakistan reflects the religious and political sentiments of the entire country as it contains many verses of the Holy Quran, National Anthem and Quaid-e-Azam. E Azam and Allama. Iqbal and Pakistan resolutions are inscribed on white marble in Arabic, Urdu, English and Bengali.

The 99 names of Allah are inscribed on ten 7/2-foot white marble tablets and the inscription "Allahu Akbar" at the entrance indicates that the people of this country have a deep commitment to their religion. The beauty of the monument is complemented by eight newly installed marble fountains on the central passage, which emit a watery rainbow with the help of colorful lights.

Why tourist and I choose this by place?

They glorified Islam and boasted of the sovereignty of Allah, the politicians who brought the country to where it is today. Minar Pakistan is now surrounded by Grand Iqbal Park, which is the main tourist attraction of the city.

Minar Pakistan is a place dedicated to freedom and independence of Pakistan. Minar Pakistan is a symbol of the freedom movement in Pakistan, so it has historical significance for every Pakistani.

It is not just a monument but it is a symbol of Pakistani resolutions and the construction of Minar Pakistan reflects the religious and political sentiments of the entire country.
