It's been a while since my last appearance on steemit. I am back with loads of new ideas and interesting blog posts. Hope you will enjoy reading my posts and join me on this venture.
Grab a cup of coffee and let's quickly go through the past few years of my life. You can skip that part if you are not interested. I will also discuss some ideas that I have about my future blog posts.
Little Background
When I started this blog , I was really fascinated by a community named @steemstem. I enjoyed reading posts related to universe written by some of the highly qualified physicist. Hence, the name event-horizon. However, my area of expertise is Computer Science. I have a bachelors degree in this field. I have written quite a few interesting posts related to the subject. You can find those on my blog. Attaching here links of two of the posts.
Future Blog Plans
Mentioning some of the things which have been a vital part of my life in the past few years. I'm planning to transform them in best possible way into my future blog posts.

Travel series
I have travelled to some amazing places in the past few years. Of course, before the global pandemic. If you are interested in knowing the details, let me know. You can also drop in the suggestions if you have something particular in mind related to travelling. I will try to answer your queries. I haven't written a travel log ever but I'm so excited about converting my dream destination(which turned into reality) into an interesting series.

Parenting
Apart from travelling, I,ve gone through a major change in my life. I have been blessed with another adorable son who is almost 5 months old now. Those who don't know, he's my second born. My first born turned 4, few days back. Having two kids is really tiresome but that doesn't stop me pursuing my passions. You just have to create a good balance in life. When you learn to adjust and adapt to different changes in life and meanwhile maintain the balance, things get a lot easier than they sound.
On and off , I will also share some tips on how to balance parenting with your passions. It's a messy, tiresome job (have a glimpse in the pic) but at the end of the day, it's worthwhile.

Book Club
I am an avid book reader. Right now I'm reading Six of Crows duo logy by Leigh Bardugo . I'm also participating in
goodreads 2021 challenge. You will see book posts here on this blog as well. I would love to have like-minded people here so we can talk and share about our readings.
Skincare Blog

Lastly, for my female readers, I run a skincare blog (
@blog_of_hirus ) on instagram. You can drop there to give a follow if you are interested. I can post my reviews here as well , if I get the audience for that stuff. Do tell me if anyone's interested! I will do a separate post on that to get an idea.
That's all for now, I guess. I don't want to reveal everything in this post. Although, that already sounds too much. But that's just general idea of what you will see here on this blog.
