Assalam u Alaikum to everyone. Today's topic is very interesting specially for food lovers, almost every women make delicious food on this occasion and make many more for their love ones. Today I share with you a delicious recipe of Motton Mandi rice recipe.
This is very tasty and special recipe for Eid-ul-Adha, because on this eid we have a large amount of meat, so let we start.
Motton Mandi
Masala
Ingredients
- Black cumin =1tbsp
- Coriander seed 2tbsp
- Bay leaves =2,3
- Peppercorn =1tsp
- Cloves = 1tsp
- Black cardamom =2 pieces
- Star anaise = 2 pieces
- Nutmeg seed,Myristica= 2,2 pieces
- Cinnamon = 2 piece
- Green cardamom =4,5 piece
- Whole red chilli 8,9
Grind whole spices and makeandi masala.
Divide into three .
Take a Motton leg, and apply cut into both sides.
Take a cup of lemon juice and put 1/4tsp orange food color and mix.
Pours the lemon juice mixture on the meat.
Take a cup of yougart.
Put one part of mandi masala in it.
Now add the salt as per taste.
And green chatni made with green chilli and green coriander and mint.
Next we add 1 tbsp of chat masala.
And mix with whisker.
Now pour the mixture of yougart in the meat and apply small cuts with knife gradually.
Marinate it over night and the next day we cooked it on low flame.
After 1 hour we turn it side and cooked again
1hour.
Almost 4 hours we cooked it on low flame. Meat is soft and we grease it and dam with coal.
Now we start mandi rice.
Ingredients
- Oil =1cup
- Onion = 2 copped
- Tomatoes =2 chopped
- Ginger and garlic paste = 2 tbsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Mandi masala = 2nd part
- Water = 1 litter
- Soaked rice = 3/4 kg
Pour the oil in pan.
Put onions and fry until it becomes golden.
Tomatoes, salt, ginger, garlic paste put in it and fry even its smell is disappear.
Now we add mandi masala of 2nd part in it.
Fry fry fry. Now we add water and when it boils we put rice in it and cook for 10 minutes.
After 1 hour we turn it side and cooked again 1hour.
Almost 4 hours we cooked it on low flame. Meat is soft and we grease it and dam with coal.

Now we do dam for 10 minutes on low flame. After 10 minutes we turn the rice and turn off the flame. Our rice are ready .
Now we start mandi sauce.
Ingredients.
- Tomatoes =2 cut it
- salt =as per taste
- Green chatni = 2 tbsp
- Mandi masala = 3rd part
- Whole coriander = 2 tsp
- Black cumin = 1tsp
Grind it all and sauce is ready.
Put the rice on pan and the mundi leg on it eat with sauce.
