Weekend calls for a trip every time. People who are adventurous would agree to this. Once you develop a habit of going out weekly, you just can't help yourself. It is an addiction, an escape from the boring and usual routine.
Trip Location
This time it was a trip to Gaddani Beach. It is a beach on the Arabian sea located at Lasbela, Balochistan. It is famous for having the world's largest ship-breaking yards. It is around 50 kilometers from Karachi and takes 1 and half hour of drive.
Trip Execution
I accompanied with my friend and left Karachi at 0430pm. Drive was a bit off due to heavy traffic. It is what it is in terms of traffic in Karachi. We reached Gaddani beach at 0615pm. There was an hour remaining in sun set. Water there was not at all calm. Waves were rushing, hitting against the rocks with so much force that you could feel the vibrations caused by them. Moreover, what surprised me was the fact that on the top of the rocks, there were holes around 4 to 5 feet in diameter which were the result of continuous hitting of waves to the rocks. The moment waves hit those rocks, water finds its way to the holes all the way up to the top of rock and a lion roar type sound is produced which is so daunting and terrifying in my opinion. There were very few people. Mostly were busy in fishing. We both just sat and appreciated the nature for giving us some splendid views.
Trip Advice
My advice for the people who wish to go to Gaddani is that NEVER EVER try to jump in the sea. Even if you find waves at peace, just don't do it. Sea over there is very much deep. A local told us that a group of 6 people came over yesterday and left that place with only 2 people. 4 people were intrigued by the sea so much that they just dived in and never made it back.
Trip Gains
All in all, if you are a person who love to explore, wander and ultimately find a cosy spot for just sight seeing and admiring the nature, this place is for you. It will provide you cool breeze, fascinating views, crabs and so much more.
Wonderful narration of a beach day.

Very well written. 👏
I had heard that the water of Gadani beach is all black and not cleaned. But these pictures cleared my misunderstanding.

Maybe it depends on the weather and the nature of the waves. Moreover, people in general do not care about the environment and just litter everywhere possible. We managed to see turbulent sea. That could be the one reason of the clarity of the water.

I second that. Sun sets are always so mesmerizing. I was lucky to reach there in time. Advice was necessary because for me enjoying the nature is more important than playing with nature.
