It is so good to see Pakistani community growing here! And please do let me know how @steemit-pak /steemit pakistan works or how should I be starting again. Thank you!!

Let me share some informative post with you as my re-joining of steemit.

The Processed Food

Every day, you buy products from the store and use them yourself or make food for your family. We all hope that these products will help us be healthy and happy, but what are they really made of? Scientists have done research and found different kinds of chemicals in processed food: it affects our health in a bad way.

According to their studies, processed food is worse than many other things: it can cause dementia, lower IQs in children, make people gain weight etc. But there is a solution. You can avoid those problems if you eat organic food and use natural products – they are safer for you!

Chemicals in this food may damage our DNA

The chemical nitrates are used to cure meats and make them last longer, but they have been found to be cancer-causing agents. Nitrates can also cause methemoglobinemia, a disorder that reduces the amount of oxygen that can be carried through your blood stream. As a result, you are at risk for strokes or heart attacks. Some processed foods contain preservatives like BHA, BHT and TBHQ which have been linked to cancer in animals and humans. These preservatives were found to increase the likelihood of developing pancreatic cancer by up to 85%.

Some chemicals may cause other diseases as well: Sodium nitrite has been linked with Alzheimer’s disease because it can interfere with vitamin B12 levels; acrylamide is formed when starchy foods are cooked at high temperatures (like French fries); monosodium glutamate (MSG) has been connected with increased appetite leading some people eat more than they should; artificial flavors have been shown in studies on rats lead them develop brain tumors!

Food additives can cause dementia, according to scientists

According to a study by the National Institute on Aging (NIA), there is some evidence that food additives may contribute to dementia by increasing the risk of developing brain plaques, which are associated with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of cognitive decline.

Processed food may lower IQs in children

The third danger of processed food is that it can lower IQs in children. The reason for this is because artificial ingredients, like trans fats and preservatives, can be toxic to the brain. Artificial sweeteners have been shown to cause an increase in blood sugar levels which increases insulin production, which reduces glucose availability to your brain cells causing a decrease in energy levels and concentration.

Additionally, there are many more additives used in processed foods than just artificial sweeteners. These additives include monosodium glutamate (MSG), artificial coloring agents such as red 40 or yellow 6, food dyes that are often linked with behavioral disorders like ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).

Processed food makes people gain weight

Processed food is high in calories. This isn’t just because of the added fat and sugar, though they certainly contribute; it’s also because of the way processed foods are made. Processed food manufacturers use a lot of salt (sodium) to add flavor to their products, which makes them taste better than their fresh counterparts. Also, many processed foods contain trans fats or saturated fats, both of which have been linked to heart disease and other health problems. In short: processed foods are high in calories because they contain more salt and fat than unprocessed foods do!

The health risks of processed food are numerous and well-documented. The most important thing is to know what’s going on with all those additives so that you can make informed decisions about your eating habits. You deserve to know what you’re putting into your body, after all!
