Documentry Review (1).png

Hello steemers, hope you’re all doing well.
Today I’m going to review yet another spine-chilling true crime documentary that I watched last week. It’s called Don't F**K with Cats: Hunting An Internet Killer.

Yes, this documentary (well actually it’s a docuseries) is as horrifying as its title suggests and it does involve crime committed against cats by a person online, however, it’s not about that person r*ping cats… it’s about something more than that. It’s about something that would make your blood run cold and leave you lost in thoughts for days. It will leave you dumb-founded and literally just… speechless.
So if you’re a person like me who likes to torture themselves by watching horrifying, crime, thriller and suspense type shows then this one is a must watch for you!

Let me start off by mentioning some information about the documentary. It was originally released on Netflix on 18 December, 2019 in English language and has a total of 3 episodes, each about 60 minutes long.
This documentary is about a guy in his late 20s who one fine day posts a video on YouTube in which he is seen torturing 2 kittens to death. This video immediately gets viral and is not digested well by people on the internet who then set out on a mission to track him down however; a digital space consisting of millions of users makes it a tough job for them to find him. It then shows how a bunch of internet nerds and police then join hands in the investigation to hunt him down, however, as the the documentary progresses, some new revelations and shocking details come to light leaving the viewers stunned.

If I talk about the direction, production, storytelling and music of this documentary altogether then I would use just one word to describe it which is: BRILLIANT! Each episode is packed with so much detail that you cannot afford to skip it even 10 seconds forward.

This documentary has a rating of 8/10 on IMDb and 67% on Rotten Tomatoes but I would give it a 10/10. You can watch the trailer by clicking the video below.

There a thing with me that if I really like a show or a movie, then I forcefully make my husband watch it too just so I could have someone to discuss about it in detail. But now another thing that I do is that I write a review about it here on steemit just so I could let all my thoughts and feelings out to cleanse my system and move on to the next movie/documentary (LOL). Just like how I previously did with another show I watched on Netflix called The Burari Deaths and shared my review here. Here is the link to it:

Anyway, I hope you liked my review. If you watch the documentary then do comment on my post about it. I would love to have more people I can discuss about it. :D
Thank you for reading, have a nice day! xx

Seems like thriller, mysterious documentary. And being an 'easy to get scared' person I dont think I can gather enough strength to watch this documentary 😄
But I am definitely gonna recommend this to my mother because she is crazy for crime/mysterious/thriller shows. You won't beleive it but there is not a single episode of CID which she has skipped 😄
And this is the reason why I am sick of this show now. I will definitely suggest this documentary to her. Thankyou for such detailed review. You have explained the whole thing very precisely and in a direct manner, without any interruptions. You have exceptional skills of breifing about things. Keep up the good work, Maryam. Stay blessed :)

Oh, haha. Yes, you should definitely recommend it to your mother.

Thank you so much for such kind words of appreciation. I really appreciate it. <3
