In today's educational theme post, I'm going to show you how you can recycle decomposable and non-decomposable material present in your surroundings and create something beautiful out of it. My aim was to gather as much material within my reach as I could and create something that would reflect my creativity and at the same time would encourage others to protect the environment by recycling waste.
So this is what I was able to create and I think the final product looks lovely.

I will now show you the steps I took to create this art. You can take inspiration from these ideas and crate something unique of your own.
The first step is to gather the material. I was informed about these leaves by a friend that grow under her building. She told me they can be recycled into something creative so I asked my househelp to get some for me.
This is what the leaves look like. I'm not quite sure what they're called but if you do then please let me know. Next, my househelp suggested me to place them in sunlight for one day to let them get into a better and firmer shape. I did that and this is what they looked like after one day.
I got these leaves spray painted into maroon, black and gold color and also gathered these pistachio shells that I had.
I had an empty painted olive jar that I used as a vase. I wrapped it's neck with jute and pasted the shells on the bottle. Then went ahead and painted the shells and put the leaves inside the vase.
Finally, I placed the vase on the rack and this is how it looked.
I was really happy with what I was able to create and really enjoyed the whole process. I will definitely recommend you all to find unused and waste material in your surrounding and recycle them into something useful.
