Hello Community members I’m doing good & I hope you all would be great as well. A gentle reminder get yourself vaccinated, wear masks & practice social distancing as Covids 4th wave is knocking our doors.
Well moving forwards I’ve spent more than a month in this community now. During this time I’ve seen a lot of people struggling to write a good diary so I thought it’s my time to give back to the community.

Some of the most common mistakes people do are:

• Grammatical mistakes
• Use of repetitive words
• Continuous writing

Ill address each of them one by one now.

Grammatical mistakes

All of us write diary in past tense so just learn one simple rule. Always use first form with “did”.
Examples: I did not had my lunch today I did not have my lunch today
A lot of Grammatical & Spelling mistakes can be corrected if you guys write your diary first on Microsoft word & then copy it from there.

Use of repetitive words

Just don’t keep on using same words over & over again. After it After it After it After it. Try to use Synonyms.
You can use Then, Afterwards, later, subsequently, next etc

Continuous writing

Divide your day into different paragraphs & give each of them a heading. If you have to write longer under a heading then break it into two paragraphs. Very long paragraphs makes your text boring for the reader.
