Assalam-O-Alaikum My Steam Family!
I'm fine Alhamdulillah and I hope all of you are fine by the grace of almighty Allah.
Today I am very happy when I saw the notification on steemit that I'm labeled as a pro newcomer.
First of all, I would thank @moeenali who invited me to this great platform where I got to learn a lot.
Before I proceed with my diary, First I introduce myself briefly.

Introduction

My name is Mahreen. I'm from Lahore/Pakistan.
Today I woke up at 4:30 a.m and brush my teeth performed ablution (wazoo)
Prayed and recited the Qur'an
After reciting the Qur'an, I went for a walk in the park near my house.
Back home from the walk, I made breakfast for my family
After breakfast, I washed the dishes and cleaned up the house.
Then call my sister who lives in a foreign country.
During the call, I decided to make Sindhi Biryani today.
Now I'm sharing the recipe of Sindhi Biryani with you guys.

Sindhi Biryani

Today I made Sindhi Biryani. It's a very famous dish.
Some people like it very spicy & some people mild spicy.
But today I made a spicy one.

Ingredients

  • Oil 1 cup
  • Chicken 2 kg
  • Onion 3 large sliced hopped
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon
  • Tomatoes 4 Medium
  • Yogurt 400 gm
  • Sindhi biryani masala 2 packets
  • Green chillies 15
  • Red chilli powder 3 teaspoon
  • Dried plums 12
  • Salt 2 tablespoon
  • Butter 3 tablespoon
  • Ground spices (garam masala) 1 tablespoon

How To Make Sindhi Biryani

For Biryani masala

In a wok add oil and sliced chopped onions and saute until light brown.
add ginger garlic paste mix well.

Now add chicken cook until color changes.

Add biryani masala, dried plums, red chilli, yogurt mix well and cook.

Cook it until oil separated.

Add water bring it to boil cover and cook until 1 cup gravy remained.

Now boiled rice with all ground spices (garam masala/optional) salt, 3 tablespoon oil, mix it, and boiled till 3/4 done. Strain and set aside.

For Layering

In gravy add slice tomatoes, green chilli, and mint leaves.

Add boiled rice sprinkle some yellow or orange food color and butter or oil. Make one more layer (as above). Cover and cook on low flame for 10 to 15 mins.

Dish out and enjoy it.
