The mind has a wonderful potential in our life that many times we do not know how to take advantage of, it is so powerful that it is capable of generating well-being or discomfort.
When we are born, our mind is completely empty and is filled throughout our lives with the information that we get from the outside, that which our parents or caregivers give us and with all the events and situations that we are having. In other words, we program it, with good and bad beliefs and thoughts.
In general, we do not pay attention to the type of thoughts we have, these come and go and sometimes we forget that they are always present.
The first thing to understand is that our thoughts create our reality, that is, everything arises first in the mind, with thoughts, which generate feelings and emotions and then an action or behavior occurs. That is, it depends on the kind of thoughts we have, the way we feel and how we react to a situation will do, that is, the three are closely connected.
The thought patterns that we have, decide the way to interpret the situations, that is why 2 people in the same situation, can react and have a different attitude. One may see an opportunity to get ahead and another sees it as catastrophic.
For this reason, it is important to observe the kind of thoughts we have (negative, limiting, toxic or harmful) and replace them with positive ones, in such a way that when we create the habit of repeating more beneficial thoughts, we will begin to strengthen our neural networks. our brain and reprogram our mind and thus achieve a better well-being and quality of life, regardless of external situations.
Our mind is similar to a computer, to which we put the programs we want and which executes our orders without knowing if they are bad or good, so it is important to recognize the responsibility that each one of us has with our own thoughts, words and actions.
When we have inadequate programming, we can reprogram our mind again and this can be done through psychological therapy with cognitive restructuring and using the force of this great tool that is the mind.
