As the very first post that I’m posting in the community I would first introduce a bit about myself.
I’m Chamodi Nayanathara and I’m 24 years of age😋. I live in Colombo, The capital city of Sri Lanka. I’m a Teacher by profession who teaches French and English Languages in a reputed International school. Teaching children was my ambition from childhood. I have a passion in teaching. I always use unique methods to teach children. Sometimes I teach the kids life lessons too for the betterment of the children.
I have brought up some beneficial vegetables for your health. These vegetables will help you burn fat in your body.
While consuming these vegetables you have to engage in exercises and drink plenty of water during your day.
Let’s get started.
Fruits that are rich in vitamin c
Lemon
Orange
Guava
Grapes
Lime
They all have properties of fat burning character. It dilutes the fat making it less portent helping it to be released from the body faster
Other food:
Bell peppers
Cabbages
Broccoli
Chilies
Apples
The pectin that is present in apples restricts the cells to absorb fat. It also encourage encourages water absorption from the food causing the release of fat deposits.
Whole grains
Your body burns twice as many calories breaking down whole foods than processed food especially those rich in fiber such as oatmeal and brown rice.
Lean meats
Protein has a high thermos genic effect. You burn about 30% of calories the food contains during digestion.
Food rich in fiber
Fiber plays an important role in fighting obesity. However, it is recommended to consume 20-35 grams of fiber per day.
Foods that are rich in fiber include:
Beans
Potatoes
Spinach
Garlic
It contains Allicin that help reduce cholesterol as fats.
Now let’s see how each nutrient helps the consumer health
Protein
Foods that are high in protein take longer to digest and can significantly boost your metabolism resulting in higher caloric burn.
Fiber
Foods that are high in fiber like whole grain cereal can help you feel full sooner and for longer. It also helps move fat sooner from the digestive system so that less of it is absorbed by the body.
Complex carbohydrates
Food like milk that are high in complex carbohydrates can boost your metabolism by helping your insulin levels stay low after a meal. Low insulin levels are good for the body.
Chemical complex EGCG
Foods like green tea that are high in chemical complex EGCG causes the brain and nervous system to run faster which helps to burn more calories.
Omega 3 fatty acids
Foods like salmon and tuna can also alter the levels of a hormone in your body called Leptin. Lower leptin levels are associated with a higher caloric burn.
