You Need to Think it || Before Asking for Support

One thing I've noticed from the start, especially from new users, is that they join the community and ask for support over and over again. Since I am a community admin, my community has about 450+ members, so they almost ask me all kinds of questions and I try to answer them correctly.

Because newcomers expect support as soon as they join any community and ask for support from big users, even though it’s a very bad habit but they don’t want to understand it. I have been able to better understand this issue since the community was launched. And it is also true that it is our responsibility to control them in the right way and to bring them in the right direction, those of us who run the community.

So this kind of constant question from them never bothered me, rather I considered it a great opportunity. Because I think we should try to build a good relationship with new users from the beginning, give them proper guidance in developing their talents, and this is more important to me as I am trying to build my position on the platform with a long term plan.

Although I am trying to guide newcomers in my own way and using my own experiences but yesterday a nice comment from the Curator of the Steem Team, the matter has become much clearer to me. So an explanation of that comment I am presenting here for members of my community.

Consistency

From my school life I have got a very clear idea about one thing from my teachers, and that is to maintain consistency in any subject. Because of if you expect to do something good in a particular subject, and then we have to try or maintain the consistency of work in that subject first.

But sadly, the newcomers do not try to maintain their continuity in this case, but they become restless to get support. So if you are a new user, or expect a good position and good support in the community, you must maintain the continuity of your work. Clear your position first and show it to the community, then expect good support.

Commitment

When we expect to build a good position for ourselves somewhere, we have to be committed, not just interested in certain things. In fact it is not a new thing rather we all know it but never try to accept it in our own case.

Remember, you need to keep trying and move slowly towards your goal. But sadly the truth is, most of new users don't want to spend too much time rather they always expect something good in a shortcut way. So spend time consistently, plan for the long term, and keep your position clear by maintaining a commitment to the community.

Creativity

It is said that those who expect something good and dream of putting themselves in a better position, always do so by expressing creativity. Because everyone will try their best to survive in the competition, so if you want to survive, you have to do it with your own creativity, and otherwise you will never be able to do it.

How do you get to a better position? Why would you expect good support from everyone? Why would everyone support you? Have you ever thought about these things, questioned yourself?

As much as you have the qualifications, express the things you are better at in your own style, hold your own exceptional position. As long as you can retain your creativity and be able to express it as you like, as long as you can expect something good, this is a reality that you have no chance to deny.

One more question to keep in mind all the time is that if you can't make any contribution to the community, why would the community support you and your work?
