For those suffering from indigestion, eating mint leaves is good for the stomach. Mint contains reasonable amounts of many nutrients and is a good source of vitamin A and antioxidants.

Mint leaves, also known as Pudhina in Tamil, its aroma help to keep us fresh and are a healthy herb. It contains iron, potassium, and manganese, which improve the level of hemoglobin in the blood and improves brain function. Mint leaves are low in calories and low in protein and fat, so those who want to lose weight can add mint to their diet.

Mint Paste (Popular South Indian Pudhina Thuvayal) Recipe:

Required Things:

Mint leaf - 1 cup
Urad Dal - 2 teaspoon
Dry chilies - 10
Tamarind - small amla size
Ginger - a small piece (optional)
Required Salt
Asafoetida - small amount

Recipe:

First, take the mint leaves from the stem and wash them.

First, put the Urad Dal in a pan and fry until lightly golden. Add dried chilies, tamarind, ginger, curry leaves, salt, and asafoetida, and fry.

Then lightly fry the mint.

Grind the urad dal, dried chilies, tamarind, ginger, salt, asafoetida, and curry leaves in a mixer. Finally, add mint leaves and grind as soft.

Mint Paste is Ready.

It is the best combination with Idli, Dosa, Rice, Rasam Rice(South Indian soup), Sambar Rice, and Curd Rice.
