Habib Wahid (better known to the audience as Habib) (born 15 October 1989) [2] is a popular Bangladeshi composer, musician and music director. He is best known for his combination of techno and urban beats with the fusion of Bengali folk songs. He is making the little known folk songs popular and acceptable to the general audience by remixing them with better melodies. He has popularized the songs of mystic music artists like Hasan Raja, Shah Abdul Karim, Amir Uddin by making some changes. Life
Habib's father Ferdous Wahid was a pioneer of modern Bengali pop music. Ferdous Wahid took Bengali pop music to a respectable place in the 1960s and 1970s. So Habib learned to play music from his father's keyboard at an early age. He later studied sound engineering at the School of Audio Engineering, (London). During this time he had the opportunity to work with Nitin of the Asian Underground. [3]

Habib's first folk music remix album Krishna. It was published while a student in London. The concept and melody of this album was created a long time ago and it is known that only one singer was waiting for it. Kaya, the owner of a Sylhet restaurant in London, was an immature singer whose voice was what Habib needed. Their songs became very popular in London. When this album was released in Bangladesh for the first time under the title Krishna, it gained incredible popularity. It was a mixture of old-fashioned folk music and western electronics, which was first introduced in Bangladesh.
