Greetings friends of @steembangladesh today I am participating in the contest organized by @abuahmad about my opinion related to a movie I like. For this contest I selected the movie E.T. The Extra Terrestrial
Before giving you my opinion related to the film I must tell you that E.T., the extraterrestrial, is a film of American origin written under the genre of science fiction, was released in 1982 was directed by Steven Spielberg, and as a writer Melissa Mathison, was starring Henry Thomas. The film based its main idea in an imaginary friend of the director himself that he gives life after the divorce of his parents.
It was acclaimed by experts and film critics as the greatest science fiction film ever made, telling the story of an atypical friendship between a boy and an extraterrestrial.
The film opens with a group of investigators in conjunction with U.S. government agents determine that there is the appearance of extraterrestrials who flee leaving one of them on earth in their haste.
In California Elliot and his older brother Michael together with their friends discover the abandoned alien, taking him home under the incredulous eyes of his family. The next day Elliot pretends to be sick to avoid going to school and stay playing with the alien, who caused a great impact with his arrival to the rest of the family (Michel the brother Mary, his mother and the younger sister Gertie). Despite this, they decide to stay with the alien. To their surprise, the alien had powers and was able to levitate balls representing their solar system, and further demonstrates his powers by reviving a dead plant.
As the days pass Elliott experiences a psychic connection with the alien. Elliott begins to behave erratically due in part to the alien's intoxication from drinking beer. For his part, the alien adopts the language of Elliott's family by repeating what Gertie says in response to what she is seeing on Sesame Street. During the Halloween festivities Michael and Elliott disguise E.T. as a ghost so they can go outside the house.
Elliott and E.T. ride their bicycles through the woods, where E.T. successfully calls home. (E.T. calls home)
As for my opinion related to the movie, I found it a beautiful and very emotional movie because one of the messages that the movie leaves us is the value of friendship and love for our fellow men; that when friendship is true, we empathize with that friend and there is a friendship for better or worse and we are able to do everything and more for that friend.
And this is the end of my participation in this contest. I take this opportunity to invite @irene1983 @skinnygirl and @zhanavic69 to participate in the contest.
