My Favorite Writer: Mir Mosharraf Hossain

Hey everyone, hope you guys are fine. I am also pretty good because Ramadan is knocking at the door. Today Steem Bangladesh provides a topic called "Your Favorite Writer". Reading books is one of my hobbies. I have read so many books and I used to know about many writers for their creative writing. Among them, Sir Mir Morsharraf Hossain is my most favorite writer.

Mir Mosharraf Hossain is one of the finest writers, novelists, and essayists in Bengali literature. This creative human being was born at Lahiripara in the Kustia district of Bangladesh on 13 November 1847. His father's name is Mir Moazzem Hossain. At that time his father was a landlord and that means Mosharraf Hossain was born with a golden spoon in his mouth. He was a creative person. He started his study career by learning Arabic and Persian language. Later he took one step ahead by taking admission to Krisnanagar Collegiate School. He read there for 5 years then he left the school and went to Kalighat School in Kolkata.

He is very intelligent but he was also like all other legends. That means drop out. He didn't complete the study because he didn't like study. After dropping out of study he started looking after his father's property. As his father was a landlord, he has many lands. But he didn't take it seriously just like study. He thought he should do a job. Then he took a job at Faridpur Nawab Estate. At this job career, he became the manager at Dilwar Estate in 1885.

As I said before that he was not serious at all these, he left the job also. Then he went to Kolkata, India to search for his fate in 1903. Then he started doing what he really wanted. That means started practicing Bengali literature. During that time, he worked for Kangal Harinath Mojumdar's "Grambarta" publication. Kangal Harinath Mojumdar was impressed with Mir Mosharraf Hossain and there was a good relationship between them. For this reason, Mir Mosharraf was called the "Literature's follower" of Kangal Harinath.

Mir Mosharraf Hossain was a great writer and the inspiration of all Muslim litterateurs. He was the creator of a fortnightly newspaper "Hitokari". Mosharraf Hossain showed his class during the time of Bankim Chandra. The most interesting thing is, Mosharraf Hossain wrote all of his books with proper bangla language. He is the creator of so many novels, dramas, farces, poems, and essays. Basically, his most famous book is "Bishadh Shindhu" which is a Muslim religion story at the place name Karbala. I read this book and I will review this book later.

Mir Mosharraf was one of the first novelists. After 'Durgesnondini' of Bankim Chandra, Mosharraf's first novel Ratnabati was published. I have read his best creation Bishadh Shindhu. I am going to review this book.

Bishadh Shindhu Review

Bishadh Shindhu is the best creation of Mir Mosharraf Hossain. This book is based on the Muslim religion story at Karbala. Basically, the story based on the grandson of the last Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (S), Hazrat Hasan and Hazrat Hossain.

The rivalry between Ejid and the grandson of Hazrat Muhammad is the main thing. This story is full of emotion. Ejid stucked the family of Hazrat hussain and make them suffered for water. They all died because of not been able to drink water. At first the lady Ejid liked married to Hazrat Hasan R and because of that the rivalry began. Then Ejid killed Hazrat Hasan with crushed diamond by his own 1st wife. The lady Ejid loved was Hazrat Hasan's 2nd wife.

Then the family of Hazrat Hasan decided to move with Hazrat Hossain R. They started journey but Ejid made them stuck in a jungle. They made their camp there. But Ejid take the full control of the river beside named Furat. Then, Ejid said he will not let anyone drink water from this river. The Hazrat family slowly becoming thirsty but can't do anything. Then one by one man went to fight Ejid but died because they were very thirsty. At a point, there was no man in Hazrat family's tent without Hazrat Hossin. Then he decided to go. He went there by wearing his father's war gear. Hossain killed all the man who guarded the river and went to drink water but he can't drink water because he was thinking that because of this water so many man of his family were killed.

Then a man of Ejid killed Hassain from his back. He died and his zanajah was done by the feresta of Allah. Then, this news was spread to brother from another mother, that means the son of Hzrat Ali's another wife. He was also a king. He heard that news and came to save Hazrat Family. A war was happened between him and Ejid. Ejid's military was unable to win. Then he killed Ejid.

This is a true story of Islam. This is the story of vanishing the family of Hazrat Muhammad S. The story was very emotional and the presentation of Mir Mosharraf Hossain was just vibrant. I like Sir Mir Mosharraf Hossain because of Bishadh Sindhu. I read this book many times. This story made all mislims emotional.

These are some of the books written by Mir Mosharraf Hossain. He is the inspiration of all Muslims Writers. I like Sir Mir Mosharraf Hossain because of his unbelievable creativity. Sir will always be remembered as a Great in Bengali Lituature. I would recommend the book "Bishadh Shindhu" to everyone mostly all my Muslim Brother and sister. You will definitely like this and you will be able to know the emotional history of our religion.
