"What is a greenhouse?" |
---|
The greenhouse means glasshouse. Even in temperate countries, a kind of glass house is specially made for growing vegetables and fruits. Green vegetables and fruits are grown indoors with the help of sunlight. Greenhouses can range from small verandas to large industrial factories. So many countries use greenhouses nowadays to extend their food supply production. With a greenhouse even in the worst area of the planet, we can able to grow many kinds of plants.
"How the greenhouse works?" |
---|
Sunlight enters this room made of work or plastic but the heat generated by sunlight cannot escape outside the room. This heat energy is reflected back to the inside of the glass wall, which makes the indoor environment much warmer than the outdoor environment. And in this hot environment, plants and green vegetables are produced. Since the climate of temperate countries is not conducive to growing vegetables, this method is used to speed up the process of plant production.
The cost of building the initial structure of the greenhouse depends on the material used to make the structure such as polyester, glass, acrylic, etc., reinforced by GI pipe, MS angle, and fiberglass. Also, the cost of building a greenhouse depends on the material used in the lining. Building a greenhouse with expensive materials is cost-effective.
"What is the greenhouse effect?" |
---|
Atmospheric carbon dioxide, methane, and some other gases exceed the lowest levels of the atmosphere, increasing its temperature. But when this generated heat wants to return to the atmosphere from the troposphere, it is blocked by the atmosphere layer and returns to the earth.
"Causes of the greenhouse effect?" |
---|
The sun's rays reaching the earth are reflected by the earth's atmosphere and the earth's surface but most of it is absorbed by the earth's surface. Some of the radiation from the radiated infrared goes into space, but the water vapor, carbon dioxide, and methane continue to be absorbed by the earth, and it spreads again to all the countries of the world and the Earth's atmosphere becomes warmer.
There is a lot of ambiguity about the origin of the word greenhouse effect. However, it is believed that the French mathematician Joseph Fourier was the first to use the term greenhouse effect.
"Greenhouse gases are described below?" |
---|
Carbon dioxide:
Carbon dioxide enters the atmosphere as a result of the combustion of fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas, oil, solid waste, trees, and other organic matter and certain chemical reactions. The amount of carbon dioxide emitted from fossil fuels and mills is about 65 percent of the total greenhouse gas.
Methane:
Methane is produced during the production and transportation of coal, oil, and natural gas. Methane is also released into the atmosphere through the decomposition of organic matter from decaying ponds and landfills. The world's methane emissions rate is about 16 percent.
Nitrous oxide:
Nitrous oxide is produced from fossil fuels and solid wastes during the production of agricultural and milling products with an emission rate of about 6 percent.
Also, hydrochloric carbon, sulfur, and nitrogen trichloride are emitted into the atmosphere as liquid greenhouse gases.
"Opposite of greenhouse effect" |
---|
According to research by scientists, the average temperature could rise by about 3 to 4 degrees Celsius by the end of the 21st century as the Earth's surface temperature rises. This increase in temperature is known worldwide as global warming which can cause flooding along with global climate change and rainfall. Also, as the Earth's surface temperature rises, the lower parts of the Earth will soon be flooded as desert ice melts.
"Conclusion" |
---|
Overall, global warming will decrease if we can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the earth. And since green plants absorb carbon dioxide, we need to plant more trees to protect the earth and future generations.
