SOYA MILK

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Soya bean
  • Water (as much as possible)
  • Sugar or Honey (your taste)
  • Flavour essence (optional)
  • Ginger (optional)

Preparation

STEP 1

Soak the soyabean seeds in water overnight so that it becomes soft and easy to take off the skin.

STEP 2

Peel off the skin from the seed. Rinse multiple times until seed comes out clean just like you do when making beancakes.

STEP 3

Put the clean beans in a blender. Add some water ginger and blend it.

STEP 4

Pour the grounded soyabean in a seive to remove the milk and blend it.

STEP 5

Pour the grounded soyabean in a sieve to remove the milk from the chaff. Some love taking the milk that way.

STEP 6

Pour milk into a pot and boil. When it starts boiling reduce the heat and stir continuously so that the milk doesn't spill over the pot leaving the whole place messy.

STEP 7

Add Sugar or honey and the flavour essence pf your choice. Stir a bit longer. It is ready to serve.
