The Aceh Tsunami Museum which Became Symbolic and Historic

This time I want to share a post about a tourist place that is a destination for local and foreign tourists. A symbolic monument to commemorate the tragedy of the Earthquake and Stunami disaster in Aceh in 2004 ago, this building is called the Stunami Meuseum. The Stunami Museum was inaugurated in 2008 which is 4 (four) years after the Stunami disaster occurred.

The purpose of building the Stunami Meuseum is not only to commemorate the tragedy but also to become an education center and an evacuation site in the event of the next Stunami disaster. This building has two floors, the first floor serves as an open area that can be seen and enjoyed from outside the building, the first floor is used as a place to remember the Tsunami disaster that occurred in 2004. There is also a prayer well with the names of the victims of the Tsunami written on the walls.

The second floor functions as a learning media room in the form of a library, teaching aids room, 4D (four-dimensional) room and a souvenir shop. The magnificent and beautiful architecture makes visitors feel comfortable and at home to linger, many visitors take the opportunity to remember as well as to learn about the historical values ​​of the 2004 Aceh Tsunami disaster.

Currently the tsunami museum is a favorite tourist destination visited by many local and foreign tourists. Every day you can visit from 09.00 - 16.00 in the afternoon, you can enter free of charge because the entrance ticket is free. The facilities offered are parking areas, toilets, gift shops, places of worship, geological rooms, food vendors. So hurry up and visit the Aceh Tsunami Museum which is located on Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda, Suka Ramai, Baiturahman, Banda Aceh, Indonesia.
