Friends, today I have come up with a post with you again. This post I went to the historical Mahasthangarh a few days ago and walked there for a long time and took pictures of some beautiful landscapes there. This Mahasthangarh is currently under the Archaeological Department. There is a lot of old history about this place.

This is my picture taken in the historical Mahasthangarh.

This is the historic Mahasthangarh. There are a lot of tourists here. Many tourists come here from home and abroad. This is the palace of King Parashuram. The palace is located much higher than the road. IT has been excavated. It's very nice to see. Seen from a distance, it seems to be covered with something green. It is surrounded by greenery. It is very beautiful to see the scenery around.

There are many big roads in front of the palace. The road went from low to high. Seen from a distance, it looks as if a road has been cut through the hills. There is a bridge over the road. A river branch flows through the bottom of the bridge.

This is a picture of a bridge and a branch of a river flowing under it. The main river is called Karotoya river. The Karatoya River flows through the bottom of this bridge. There is a lot of water here during the rainy season. In the rainy season, the scenery from the bridge looks very beautiful.

These are the pictures on the walls of the palace. Since these palaces were built long ago, they have been covered with grass in some places. Again in some places red bricks have come out. Its walls are very thick. It is possible to walk on these walls. It is very nice to climb on top of the palace and see the natural scenery.

The idea is that the walls of this palace were very high. The palace is slowly covered with mud. Many years ago, it was a mound of mud. The Department of Archeology excavated it and confirmed the location of this palace.

A river flows on one side of the palace. The name of the river is Karotoya river. This whole area was known as Pundranagar a long time ago. There was a ship port here. People from many countries used to come here for business, trade and education. This place was the capital of Pundranagar.

The pictures above show the different rooms of the palace and there is a place called Govinda Vita on one side of this palace. Which is thought to have been the temple here before. Some statues have been excavated here. It is believed that King Parshuram used to worship here. Another picture shows the children rejoicing in visiting natural and historical places.
