The game is about
XCOM 2 is the sequel to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, one of the most awarded PC games of recent times. The second part places us twenty years after the events of the first game, in a scenario in which humanity lost the war against the alien invaders and there is a new order on Earth. The game offers a new graphic aspect, a new type of alien, improved character classes and a more tactical and versatile guerrilla based combat.

My opinion after playing
Despite starting from the same base as its predecessor, XCOM 2 manages to offer us enough new features to feel like a full-fledged sequel. It is a game that is as familiar as new, since it is still the XCOM that we all know and love, although we will have to adapt to its new rules and learn to play again.
The lack of control in the ambushes, how frustrating the percentages of success can be and how stressful it becomes due to their very high difficulty may not make it advisable for everyone, but a true Commander would never back down from these problems and fight against adversity to save the Earth from the aliens that have invaded us. Are you prepared to take command of XCOM once again and prove to these aliens what humanity is capable of?
