What Thursday offers for me is a free day to do a lot of things. I don’t have the need and the rush of having to be in the shop as every Thursday is an environmental day for all traders in Lagos state Nigeria. What it means is that all shop owners must observe a compulsory cleaning of their immediate environment and they are not allowed to open their stores until 10 pm of that day.

So on this particular day, there is always little to do at the store as we often almost always never bring our wares out of the store on most days. So after the jogging from 6 am to 7 am, today, I decided against not going to shop. So after freshening up, I ate bread and drowned to water afterwards before settling down to watch movies afterwards.

I started with watching some movies from Fisayo folder on the desktop of my laptop. The folder was filled with some Nigerian home movies and I am not really a fan of Nigeria movies. So after watching the first movie in the folder, titled Elevator baby. It was a very interesting movie and it took me two hours to complete. After I was done watching it, I decided to watch another Nigerian movie title Ms independent. I didn’t complete this movie has I slept off while watching it.

I woke up at around 3 pm to meet the movie over already. I decided to have a re-watch and it was really a great movie. I didn’t even bother about eating for during the afternoon as I was not hungry. Once the movie ended at around 5 pm, I watched the final movie of the day which was titled the setup. After finishing the movie at around 7 pm, I switched off my laptop before lying back on the bed think of my next move.

I decided to go to the noodles vendor at Olatunji Street to buy noodles and eat for the night and by 10 pm I was already in bed.

That was how my day was spent on the 20th of August, 2020. I hope you enjoy reading it.
