HELLO PHILIPPINES! HELLO WORLD! 😊
I am back again for another travel destination! 😊
I'm so excited to share to you guys this adventure because this was our first family trip and our first airplane ride. 😊
So, SIT back and ENJOY the ride! 😍
Baguio City is part of the Northern Luzon, Philippines, that can be found in Benguet. It is considered to be the country's Summer Capital and also known as the City of Pines. Baguio City also is the home of Strawberries in the Philippines.
It is also considered as the coldest place in the Philippines that register the lowest temperature in the country that ranges to 7-23 degree celsius.
Me and my family went to baguio for a vacation. It was a memorable vacation since it was our first time to travel together via airplane. 😊
Our flight was supposed to be landed at Clark Airport but unfortunately our flight was rerouted to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. So we ended up in Manila, and have the longest land travel going to Baguio.
I was amazed with the City, the cleanliness of the surroundings was awesome. I was also amazed by the fact that the thier mall has no aircon! Can you imagine that? That's how cold it is in Baguio. They don't have to turn on thier fridge because if you left a glass with water in it, turns cold. 😍
Baguio City is rich in thier tourism attractions. I will be sharing to you guys some of the places that we went to. 😊
BURNHAM PARK
This park is named after Daniel Burnham, an American architect and Baguio City planner, who designed the park. There are lots of activity that you can have with your family such as the go cart, boat riding, fishing and more.
MINE'S VIEW PARK
It is one of the top tourist attraction in Baguio. It has an amazing view, that will make you relax. You can also rent their tribal costume. 😊
LION'S PARK
A 40 foot man-made and painted rock is one of the stop over spot of the tourists. It was a project of the Lions Club International that aimed to develop an imposing landmark of Baguio. It is located along the Kennon Road.
My father was enjoying his selfie. 😊
CAMP JOHN HAY
It is a forest watershed reservation in Baguio City which was formally the base of the American Military and was named after John Milton Hay, Pres. Theodore Roosevelt's Secretary of State.
TAM-AWAN VILLAGE
We are all in awe after visiting Tam-awan Village. We were amazed on how they manage to preserved thier culture. The indigenous art form was breathtaking.
THE MANSION
One of the places you should not forget when visiting Baguio City. The Mansion serves as the summer palace of the President of the Philippines. Do not forget to try the famous strawberry and ube taho. 😋
This vacation was the way to bring as closer with each other. It made as stronger after the death of my other sibling. This journey of ours opened up our minds to be with each other no matter what happen because at the end of the day, FAMILY MATTERS MOST!
Hanggang sa muli! 🥰
Yours,
