Holy Week is the annual Christian commemoration of the Passion of Christ, that is, of the entry into Jerusalem, the Last Supper, the Stations of the Cross, the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. It is the last week of Lent from Palm Sunday until the sunset of Holy Thursday, between the sunset of Holy Thursday until Easter Sunday, called the Easter Triduum. For this reason, it is a period of intense liturgical activity within the various Christian confessions. It begins with Palm Sunday and ends on Resurrection Sunday, although its celebration usually begins in several places the previous Friday (Friday of Dolores). The date of the celebration is variable (between March and April)

There are many people for whom Easter is just a vacation and relaxation time. However, Easter is much more than that. It is the moment when Christians remember the passion and resurrection of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

Holy Week should be one of reflection, spiritual recognition, and gratitude to God. Thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross we have forgiveness for our sins and the salvation of our souls. Jesus took our place on the cross and suffered the punishment that was due to each of us. And he did it all for love! , ...thanks to his wounds we were healed. We were all lost, like sheep; Each one went his own way, but the Lord brought the iniquity of us all to him. Battered and humiliated, he did not even open his mouth; as a lamb, it was led to the slaughter; like a sheep, he is dumbfounded by his shearer; and he didn't even open his mouth.
(Isaiah 53: 5b-7)
