The Diary Game | 13 July 2024 | Preparing and Distributing Charity Rice | My Experience with the Motorway Police Written Test

I hope everyone is doing well. I had my Motorway Police written test which I applied for about two months ago. There are only 50 seats on this application but the people who have applied are about five and a half lakhs.

The paper was due at eight o'clock, so I woke up early this morning. After waking up and getting fresh, I had my morning breakfast. As soon as I had breakfast, my mother said you have to take food for my brother who was in Sahiwal where I was to reach. I said ok then I left a bit early because I have to go there and get the food too. I took the food from my home and all my test items including a clipboard pencil roll number slip etc. Taking all these things, I went straight to Sahiwal and took the food to my brother.

As I didn't have much time yet, I left early and went straight to my center. Only my brother was caught on my mobile and I told him I would take it from you on my return. Because only roll number slips and clipboard and pencil are allowed in the exam and we can't take any electronic thing inside even we couldn't take watch. So I grabbed all those things and went straight to my center. Where a lot of people had reached and there was no way to walk. So many kids were there to take the exam, that I quickly found my name on the list and reached that room.

My exam was in room number five where I arrived and there were already a lot of people there. As soon as I went and sat there, we had to wait there for almost an hour and a half because more children were coming from behind. They had to start the paper at around 10 am and it was only an 80-minute paper which we had to wind up in 80 minutes.

As soon as 10 o'clock they gave us the question paper and answer sheet and told us that you have only 80 minutes to solve this paper. We quickly took that paper and solved it and I solved that paper in about 70 minutes and left after giving my paper. From there I directly went to my brother who had reached the shop because it was quiet time so I grabbed my mobile from there and came straight home.

Today we had to cook rice in the evening and distribute it among people and distribute it among relatives and distribute it among friends. So, as soon as I got home, I made a list of household items that we spend monthly. He made a list and together he made a list of things that we had to cook and share. After making a list of all the things I reached the nearest Harappa station which is near us which is about two kilometers away. When I reached there, I saw that there was a lot of rush. I held my list at a shop from where we had to buy the goods and stopped at the side and waited for our goods to come out. I will leave after paying the bill. Meanwhile, my father was also with me, he bought vegetables. I stood here at the grocery store and my father bought vegetables and also bought fruits. As soon as we collected all these things, we quickly left because the month of Muharram is going on, due to which many people give to charity. And because of this, there was a lot of rush at the station so we finished our work quickly and returned home.

When we got home we put all the stuff on a cot and matched it according to the list. And then I counted the list again so that if there is any problem in the bill, we can change it again. At the same time, we had also bought apricots, so when we came home, we ate those apricots and tallied the bill along with it.

I checked all the things that were fine then we put our household stuff in the house and the other stuff we bought for the rice was kept on one side. So that when the rice cooker comes in the evening, we give him all the equipment and he starts his work.

It was almost noon and it was almost evening. I ate my food quickly. I had just finished eating when the cook came to cook the rice.

He had brought his utensils with him as soon as he came I took out a cot and placed it outside. There he took out all the stuff with vegetables and other spices. I gave it to him and he started cutting the vegetables which included tomato onion green chili ginger etc. As soon as he cut these things, I put the meat on the stove to boil. After boiling it, we cut it into small pieces and after that time it had chopped its spices too.

After that, he put wood in a stove and set the wood on fire. As soon as he started the fire, he placed a pot on top of it, in which he poured oil and started cooking it by adding onions, etc.

He prepared the spices very well. He took a pot and kept chopped tomatoes, ginger, and green chilies in it, which looked very beautiful. And on top of that, he added other spices including red chili hot spices and other items that were to be added on top of it. And they look quite beautiful as you can see below.

On one side, we soaked the rice in water in a pot to soften it a bit. Everyone knows that whenever we cook rice, we soak it a little before. That is why we had soaked rice in a pot. In another vessel we kept the water full so that we needed water again and again then we took this water from this vessel. As it was difficult for us to get water by repeatedly running the pipe, we collected the water in one place. And meanwhile, the cook was doing his work and he put all those spices in the pot and started cooking it.

When he started cooking by placing it on the stove, he started adding whatever was missing. As we did not add salt before, we had added china salt earlier, now it was plain salt, which too had to be added. He also added this salt while cooking.

And so again he took that rice out of another vessel and strained it and separated the water from them. And put this rice in this pot and then mix it for some time. Now it was time to light it, so he took some coals from the bottom and put a lid on the cauldron. So that it gets heat from below and heat from above and the rice swells and becomes thick and cooks well.

For about half an hour we let it grow like this. And when we opened it after half an hour, we saw that the rice was cooked deliciously in our beautiful way. And you can see below that they look pretty delicious.

I took this rice out on a plate and took a picture of it with me as it was very hot and I thought I should try it first to see if it is tasty or not. I checked them out which were very tasty then it was time to distribute them to the people.

First I started it with my relatives I took two types of pots put rice in them and first went to my relative's houses. After giving them, I distributed them in my neighbor's house. I put that rice in a pot and went to every house to distribute that rice. After distributing the rice, I went to the houses that were far away where I could not go on foot and gave rice to those people on my bike. And then I was quite tired because of my work, so I sat down for a while and rested.

Then I distributed this rice among my friends. Some of my friends came to our house and I sat them down and fed them this rice.

And in the same way, my father's friends also came and we sat them down and fed them rice. And thus we completed his work.

In the evening my uncle came to our house and he brought along one of my younger nieces who is my cousin's daughter and she is very beautiful. In the evening we sat and ate rice together and played with this little niece for a long time. And thus it would be night, she would go to her house and we slept in our house. This is how we spent our day. Hope you like my activity.
