My greetings to you all, hope you all are doing good, This blog is about my participation in Weekly drawing contest | Draw A Parrot conducted by @eliany mam in Steem kids & parents community. Today I'm going to draw a parrot. thankyou for conducting the contest.

First I started with head and beak of the parrot ,i thought it is easy to start

Then I carefully completed the eyes and slight body shape of the parrot.

I draw the most of the boday and darken the outlines of the parrot.

I completed with the feathers and claws even I draw the trunk where it stands.

After shading work, the sketch parrot got live look unfortunately I have no colour pens to give parrot, but the sketch came well, I hope.

Parrots are seen in many colours all over the world, but mostly in Asia, green is recognised for the parrot. Even parrot green becomes a kind of classification. Parrots have a curved and sharp beak, which is different when compared to other birds. It is also known as "hookbills" because of their beaks. Parrots are not mammals, and 350 species are seen widely.

Most parrots are wild, and they used to live in warm places like the southern hemisphere. Parrots are seen widely in Mexico, Australia, South America, etc. More diversity of parrots is seen in warm areas. In some exceptional cases, parrots do not like warm weather; they prefer to live in cold climates.

Mostly parrots are social bord Where they live as tribe or flock. Some of the species live only with one mate, which is known as monogamy. Parrots are omnivorous, which means they eat living things like fruits and veggies. Parrots eat seeds, fruits, nuts, and insects. Parrots sleep during the day and are active at night. Parrots have a strong and sharp beak to open hard things like nutshells and eat nuts.

Parrots play an important role in human life by keeping the forest alive. Parrots eat seeds, most of which are not digested. In that case, the seeds come out in the form of excretion. The excretion will make trees in the future, which is known as seed dispersion through birds. I don't know parrots are being in food of human . Parrots are seen as lovely pets all over the earth, and by farming them and selling them, humans make money.

Mostly, parrots are not dangerous if you are aware of their beaks, which are strong and sharp. Their beaks are naturally designed to open hard shells and to pluck holes in trees, so beware of their cute and beautiful beaks.

Of course, parrots are lovely; some of them can even talk back if they are trained well. Having a pet like a parrot will make men stress-free and more engaged in activity. Even though I have a cocktail pet with me.
