The happiest moment of year 2023.

Today am writing on my happiest moments of the year. Thank you @drhira for this opportunity. I’d start by saying that I’ve had my fair share of happy times all through the year but I had the one that made more imprint in my mind and this is due to the circumstance surrounding the event.

Middle of last year 2022, I didn’t have a phone to use and I was offline for a while until one of my friends gave me a small phone to use. It wasn’t an android phone. I had to make do with it for so many months. You know what it feels like to move from using a good android phone to using one that’s not an android. It’s was quite a frustrating moment but I had to manage through that period.

Later late last year someone gave me an android phone. It was better than using one that wasn’t android but it still wasn’t as good as the one I was using earlier. I was just managing the phone. It has issues with the screen because if fell from my hand and broke. I had to fix it and the screen got bad again.

I was passing through this dilemma with my phone and I was praying that the screen should not totally go blind. Then one faithfully evening I was traveling and I got robbed of the phone I was using. It was like going from frying pan to fire. So I didn’t have a phone again.

One of my colleagues offered to give me a phone to manage. This particular one was so terrible and frustrating. It would hang and trip off at will and you would have to hit it and do all manner of antics to just use it. It gets very hot most times. My frustration knew no bounds.

I told my Elder brother about my challenge with my phone and that I needed money to fix another phone that my mum asked me to come pick up which was bad. He told me to hold on for a while that he was going to send me a phone.

I was thinking the phone was going to be sent soonest but I didn’t know I was to wait for months again. I waited and waited for almost four months until one day he finally called me and said he was sending me a phone. I thought it was a normal android phone but to my greatest joy and happiness, it was an iPhone. Guess what? It was the famous iPhone eleven PROMAX.

Oh my God, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was shouting and screaming. I was soooo over joyed. I felt like my year has been made. All the frustrations and struggles I had for over a year with phones was totally gone. I felt like I was dreaming. I was so happy that I couldn’t contain my Joy.

I called my mum and my siblings and shared the good news to them. This was my happiest moments and I could still recollect how relieved I felt. This is the best phone I had used all my life and it’s so sweet to use.

Am still thankful to my brother and I seize any slightest opportunity I get to thank him for the phone. I feel so blessed to have a good and considerate elder brother. My phone was really worth the wait.
