It's the last week of our engagement challenge and steemkids and parents community decided to make us creative. DIY. Creativity has been a part of me when I joined steemit. I attribute all my creative skills to steemit because I learnt from the best.

The acronym DIY means Do It Yourself. This includes all creativity done with the hands and by individual persons. This creativity ranges from basic skills, drawing to craft making and lot more. So far on steemit, I've been able to Master the art of craft but still learning drawings. This has really broaden my sense and perception of fashion as a whole as I delve into creating crafts based on fashion as shown below. These are some of my craft works but yet There's a more exclusive work of which this engagement challenge demands for.

I feel extremely different about myself. I call it raw talent. It may not be useful to me as a craft but can be used to design a room by making it a wall craft or better still can give you a good sense of things as I've gotten from craft making. Making this things makes me creative and also gives me lot of ideas about the fashion industry and materials mixing. The designs these crafts offers can be used in the fashion industry if not used by me. I then decided to create an exclusive show craft called Cinderella's shoes

These are the four materials I used in making this simple craft which doesn't require technical skills.

• Cardboard paper
• Sellotape
• Meter rule
• Camera for pictures

The procedures are shown below

• Step 1: To make this craft, I used a blue cardboard paper. I measured using my meter rule 18cm on both the width and length and then carved it out from the main cardboard paper. Inl then used the measurements in multiplying the squares to ×4. After attaining 4 squares, I used one of the squares in making the head of the shoes. I make slant curves on both ends to align as shown below.

• Step 2: After attaining slant curves on both ends, I then folded the paper in a rectangular way and then spread it out to start making curves. After spreading it back to it square, I used the lines from the slant and normal curves in folding from the right edge down as shown below.

• Step 3: After folding in from the right edge to attain the shape shown in 7 I then fold it in again on both sides toake it look like a kite as shown below. After attaining the kite shape, I turned the craft behind to work on it. As I turned it back, I ensured the sharpe or well-trimmed edge faces down and the scattered edge faces up.

• Step 4: After attaining this, I made folds in on both sides and then usedy thumb in expanding the holes on the end of those folds as shown below. After making the folds, I ensured that I take the sharp triangular edge left from the fold in binding the expanded holes. I fold it in and then placed it in between the expanded holes so it would be strong.

• Step 5: After securing the expanded holes, I turned the craft to the back and then used the remaining edges which is a pair in tighting the head of the shoes. I used one Sharp edge and put it in another likewise the other edge and it became tight and strong.

• Step 6 We've finally attained the head of the shoes. So we'll keep it and focus on the leg of the shoes for the feet. To make the feet, you'll carry out same procedure from picture 1-9. After attaining a fold like a kite, fold it in again as shown in 17 and then turn it to the back. After doing so, spread the part that looks like the head of a kite and then fold the edges inside.

• Step 7 After folding the edges inside, take both sides and ensure you press them up and then lie them flat as shown in 21 and 22. After pressing it down, you turn it to the back and then make the sharp sides you've seen compressed so it would act as the side protection of the feet. Once you've done this, put the feet to the head and ensures it laps. You can use a water gum in making it firm.

Tardaaaa I've made one leg. Use same procedures in making the other leg so it becomes a pair.

This is the finished product of my craft. It's ready for use. I'm taking it to the fashion industry to sample. It's worth 2000 steems. If you need one, I can make it for you.

To those out there finding it difficult to take part in anything DIY, I'll say you're missing a lot because one, DIY may look absurd to you especially as an adult but it's by far that. It makes you have this creative mindset in exploring things not just craft.

Mental work is required of which this DIY help develop. It's not just craft. Anything creative you can do with your hand. Once you develop interest for it, you'll excel like others are doing and you'll find joy when complemented for the raw talent you possess.
