Weekly Contest 22 || The Diary Game || Share how you spent your day || My Business Trip To Skopje

My next business visit was to Skopje, Macedonia and it started with a bit of fatigue from the long journey, which took its toll on me. I was hungry and needed something quick and tasty to recover. I didn’t waste much time and headed to a restaurant that seemed suitable for a quick break. The menu offered many interesting dishes, but my attention was drawn to a chocolate pancake. I decided not to hesitate and ordered from the waiter, who was extremely kind and responsive. As I waited for my order, I noticed something that definitely made the moment even more enjoyable. A friendly cat appeared, strolling between the tables with graceful ease. She looked so calm and confident that it added another touch of coziness to the atmosphere of the establishment and brightened my day a little :)

After I had satisfied my hunger, I decided to take a walk and explore a little more of the city. The air was fresh, and the streets of Skopje had a unique charm that I cannot fully describe in words. When it got dark, the feeling of festivity began to be saturated thanks to the beautiful Christmas lights that illuminated the streets. The atmosphere was magical, and I did not miss to enjoy it.

Then I went back to the hotel building where I was staying. It had an incredible view of the city, as it was tall and modern. Luckily, the building had a heated pool, which was perfect for a nice, relaxing experience after a long day. The water was warm and soothing, and the pool itself was absolutely peaceful - there weren't many people, allowing me to enjoy the complete silence and coziness.

The visit to Skopje was not only a professional but also a pleasant experience, with small details that added even more to the charm of this beautiful city. After enjoying the wonderful atmosphere of the city, the beautiful Christmas lights and a peaceful relaxation in the pool, it was time to prepare for departure. I was left with the impression that this city is not only a modern and dynamic place, but also preserves its unique charisma and warmth.

Filled with positive emotions, I left for the airport with the thought that I would return here someday, not only for work, but also to immerse myself even deeper in this cozy and welcoming city. Although my time was limited, Skopje managed to impress and charm me, and will undoubtedly remain in my mind as one of the places worth visiting again :)
