That concept is sacrifice. So today, throughout this post, I hope to share with you my views on the concept of sacrifice and an example of how it works in the practical world.

What does this sacrifice really mean? According to my opinion, sacrifice is simply giving something you own to someone else with great pleasure.

In fact, this concept of sacrifice is a concept that has been highly approved by all religions, including Buddhism and Christianity.

The reason for that is that this concept can have a positive impact on anyone's life.

Compared to the past, nowadays, people's lives are busy with the world of work. Along with being busy, people are away from such external activities. It really shouldn't be like that.

It is really important to focus on such good things as much as we can.

In fact, this donation is a good activity that can be done very easily by people who live such a busy life. In fact, donating something to someone is really a very valuable thing. It does not need to cost a lot. Even if you have a small thing, giving it to someone with a very happy heart is really great. something worthwhile

In the past as well as in the present, we can see that people themselves have classified people into three similar classes based on wealth and power.
Those social classes are poor people, middle class people and rich people.

We humans have diverse needs. There are many diverse needs to fulfill those needs. But the resources required to fulfill all our needs are limited. Therefore, it is difficult for everyone to fulfill all their needs at the same time. So, in this case, the concept of sacrifice is very important. It is important that someone who has more of something donates it to those who have less, so both parties can be happy.

Leaders of different religions have interpreted this concept in different ways. As a Buddhist, our religious leader, the Buddha, has preached that we should donate something to someone, not the things we use and get rid of. We should donate to someone the best thing we have.

In fact, in Buddhism, this concept of sacrifice is known as "Dan Deema".
At present, dansals are held all over the island on the basis of Vivida Poya days. It is really a very good thing. This is an example of an example where the concept of sacrifice can be seen in practice. So people do whatever they can to friends, relatives, family members, neighbors etc. Together with groups of people, they donate to other people. So, anyone can participate in these dansals.

So this dansal was first started in Sri Lanka by a king named Dutugemunu who ruled Sri Lanka in the past. It is mentioned in the Mahavansaya literature source.

So let's all practice donating as much as we can.
