Hello friends welcome to my blog.
Sorry have saved a lot of situations and would have saved many other situations that went worse.

Some years back, when my child began school, he was a bit younger, and could not speak fluently. He was always picked up by the school bus every morning. The school bus driver was a humble and calm man who was always on time.
One day, he came and picked my child up to school in the morning, and at the close of school that day, when he brought my child back from school, I saw a big scar on my child's cheek close to his eye. I asked what happened, and the school driver said he didn't know. When the class teacher brought him to the school bus when school dismissed, he inquired, and the teacher said that my child had come to school with a scarred face, which was not true.
When I asked my child what happened, he could not explain because he was too young to give a detailed explanation. I was so mad that we put a call to the school authority, my husband spoke to the school headteacher with so much anger that he threatened to come to the school the next day to get them arrested because the scar was a big one which would have disfigure the child if it has happened to the child's eye.
Also, it was an act of negligence on the side of the teacher for not noticing the state of the child's face, to have said he came to school with the scar from home, which was not so.
The head teacher pleded so much on the phone call, when we got to the school the next morning the class teacher came to also pled with us telling us she was sorry of what happened to the child and that it was an oversight on her to not notice when it happened. she pleaded that she almost cried and promise that such will never repeat again.
The sorry of the class teacher and school authority saved the situation because we have decided after handling the issue in the school we will take my child to another school that will be more careful with children and paying attention to the pupils. But seeing how sorry and remorseful they were, I changed my mind about taking my child out of the school.
Sorry saves lots of situations, especially when it is a genuine one from the heart and accompanied by an action to rectify the situation.

Quite interesting to read this story. It makes lot of sense to know sorry saved this particular situation. In some cases, it may be the other way round. Best of luck.

That was so kind of you not taking your child out from the school, this is a good example to follow when someone who wrong you remorseful pleaded for forgiveness and you grant without hardening your heart. I like you mind and your story is interesting, best luck.

Our kids are our treasures, we value them so much that we wouldn't want anything to happen to them. Being angry at that negligence is not out of place but thank goodness that the school authority and the teacher apologised and say sorry. That saved the situation. Sorry is really so magical and can save ugly situations of this nature. Thank you for sharing
