What Is Gift Giving?

Gift giving can be defined as an act or decision taken to share to someone something valuable to use or reserve in the remembrance of you. It can also be the way of showing gratitude to a particular fellow who has whole heartily shown profound dedication and commitment to your company or business center ( pertaining to work).

With further explanation, i will describe " Gift Giving" as something given voluntarily ( from the heart) without payment in return or exchange of another gift, just as to appreciate a person or an occasion or to make available some assistance.

Should It Just Be For A Season In A Year? Explain

Normally people remember there loved ones, family and friend in seasonal periods and i will quote you wrong that gifts are not been given only for a season. For there are many more events that happens which causes one to gift out. If only if gift giving were meant to be for just a season then every other celebrations should be cancelled out.

This question points at the direction of "Xmas" season but proving you wrong that it's ain't done that way. I can attest of my junior friend who gets gifts from her uncles monthly then for a special event is boom!.. So gift giving doesn't have specific event or time to give it out.

There are several opportunities when one can exchange gifts and these include;

• Child Dedication
• Birthday Celebration
• Retirement Party
• Naming Ceremony.
• Valentine's Day.
• Matriculation Day. Etc.

What Are Proper Items That Can Be Exchanged As Gifts

There are things people get to give or exchange as gift to the people they have decided to gift and these things include;
• Gift cards.
• Shoes.
• Bags.
• Dress.
• Food Items.
• Home appliance.
• Handset.
• (For babies) Baby Items.
• Flowers.
• It could also come as money.

And there are so many things that can be given as gift, it doesn't really have a specific item to give, you can give whatever you can afford as gift so far as the person can or will accept it.

What Should Be The Right Motive For Gift Giving

There could be various reasons why one wants to gift someone, it could be when you so much cherish him or her, when there is need to gift like in parties or celebrations. Before one can think of giving gift there must have been something in their mind that motivated them to show some love to you.

Who Is Qualified To Give Gifts?

Anyone is qualified to get a gift for the fact that you know him or her and cherishes them, you gift them when they have a special event going on in their lives.

How Should The Giver And The Receiver Feel About The Act Of Giving

Both the receiver and giver are expected to feel excited. Because most people don't get to receive a gift even in their birthday, so it's really a thing of Joy to gain favour from people when you don't expect it.

Around May 21st of 2020 which was my birthday, i got a surprise from a friend i barely know, this friend had called me on phone using a female voice to trick me. I thought it was my female namesake friend that wanted to should me the love but never knew it was my male namesake. On that day, i came out to crunchies fast food with my younger sister surprising enough i saw what i requested versers what i got.😅

He really did a lot for me that day, it was least expected of him, even my family member got to know more about him after that and know, yeah yeah, he is our very good family friend.

There is need sometimes to receive gift and also give gift because it really calls for happiness. It is a contest of one of it's kind thanks to the steemit engagement team to let us participate in this week's engagement challenge and thanks also to steem kids and parents community team for their efforts.
