STEP 1

IMG_20241116_180313_069.jpgIMG_20241116_173104_638.jpg

I washed my cocoyam first before cooking it. So after cooking it with a cup of water, I now pill the cover then pound it heavily with all my strength until it becomes to soft well ground.

STEP 2

IMG_20241116_174306_465.jpgIMG_20241116_171138_910.jpg

The second procedure I took before I started cooking was to calm down and arrange my vegetables, like cutting the oha and uziza leafs and pilling my achara very well before I started.

STEP 3

IMG_20241116_181448_887.jpg

After arranging my vegetables, I now add some cup of water inside my cooking pot and now set it on the fire (gas cooker) waiting for it to boil.

At the point of waiting for the water to boil, suddenly my gas finished at a spot, and it was already night. I now transfer to the firewood, it was at that place that I finished the remaining part, so let's continue.

STEP 4

When the water boiled, I now added my palm oil and my protein and waited for some mins before I now gently used my spoon to be adding the pounded cocoyam inside the pot.

STEP 5

When it has boiled and speculate very well, I now open my ogiri and added it together with my uziza so that the soup will have a good and sweet aroma, so I now put all the remaining ingredients one by one like pepper, pound crayfish, Maggi, salt and so on.

STEP 6

IMG_20241116_184852_226.jpgIMG_20241116_184830_873.jpg

This is the final step, so when I observed that it has boiled very well to the extent I won't, I now put my vegetables like the achara and now the Uha leafs, I waited for some mins for it settle down before I now turn it and off the fire.
NOW FOOD IS READY!! Fufu and cocoyam With oha & achara soup

CONCLUSION

WOW, before the food was done, I have already get my fufu ready for the delicious culture soup, I didn't need any helper to assist to finish the food, I removed my shirt washed my hands and balance on my chair and dismounted the food.
