Morning and Afternoon activities
Before sleeping yesterday, I had proposed in my heart to go to work today, as work begins for all the staff of Brianna International School today. Well, I woke up at some minutes to 7:00, said my prayers prepared and got ready to leave for work. I made sure to avoid taking two drops to work today as the cost of transportation has increased. However, I looked like the Israelites because I had lots of things to carry (I'm sorry I couldn't take some pictures as my hands were full, and I was in a hurry). I boarded a bus which took me to my destination. I was very glad when I arrived and noticed that I was number four in the time book. Phew! I smiled and strolled into the school compound with my Israelites journey bag. I was greeted with tons of laughter as my colleagues teased that I had come back with all my sugar paper, cardboards and lesson notes untouched since the papers were folded as was given (I laughed at them because I knew I had finished my drawings).
I got settled for the day in my classroom (preschool 2) and started carving out decorations for my classroom windows. It was not an easy one, but it was worth it as I loved every bit of the process, which involved lots of laughter and stories with my colleagues. While working, I remembered the adage that says whatever your hands find to do, do it well, because my classroom windows came out a beauty !
Evening Activities
At about 3:30 p.m. I packed up from my workspace and boarded a tricycle to the Church. I stopped by the restaurant to feed my tummy with Afang soup and Garri since I needed energy for my evening. I stayed in the church premises and made sure to attend the faith clinic. Today was a wonderful prayer session anchored by a minister who led us to pray for ourselves and our families. At about 6:30 p.m. I joined the youth for choir rehearsals in preparation for the upcoming youth Sunday where I met @atimissac, and we rehearsed a song by Mercy chinwo titled From the rising of the sun. It was a very fruitful rehearsal which brought in lots of smiles as we swayed to the rhythm of the song. The rehearsal came to an end and I arrived home at some minutes past 8:00, had my dinner and sat down to tell you about my day. Thank you for staying tuned and God bless you.
This is so beautiful @ deelyt
