Families are the basic foundation of a society, and family health is crucial to the well-being of both communities and individuals. Oftentimes family face some unique challenges when it comes to healthy lifestyle. Sedentary lifestyle, lack of sleep and stress can all take effect on family members both the older and younger ones. Therefore families is must navigate compound health systems to get the care they needs. But they are necessary steps which families can take to enhance their health both as a unit on individually. So in my article today I'll be talking about ways of improving Family Health, specifically my ways as I engage in this ongoing contest organised by @goodybest.....

In a thrive to have a healthy lifestyle both individuals and families face some health challenges which often discourages the process. Here are some list of common health concerns.

  • malnutrition
  • stress
  • mental health issues like depression or anxiety
  • chronic illnesses like diabetes or hypertension
  • lifestyle issues due to poor sleeping habits or lack of necessary physical activity
  • financial stress

Ways I take to improve my individual and family health

√ Eating Healthy Food: balanced diet is a necessary criteria or basic necessity to having a good healthy lifestyle. When we eat healthy food we practically reduces the possibility of the availability of malnutrition. In my personal life I try my possible best to have at least two meals a day which contains some basic nutrients such as carbohydrate, protein, vitamin and water.... I always try my possible best to stay hydrated.

√ Recreational activities: like I earlier mentioned stress is also part of the health challenges most people face. To reduce stress in my individual life as well as my family I make time for fun activities like going for a walk and playing games together. Sometimes I set time for relaxation like reading creativity and storytelling, encouraging affirmations and positive thinking...

√ Physical activities: physical activities which include body fitness and sports. It is recommended that adults should get at least 150 minutes of a moderate intensified aerobic exercise per week. To be honest sometimes I don't particularly do exercises every morning but during the weekends like the Friday and Saturday I go for jogging very early in the morning and also play football/ soccer in the evening with my mates/friends

√ Quality sleep: Getting quality sleep is a good approach to living a healthy life. I try going to bed early as possible by 9 p.m. everyday except I have something important to do especially from work or here on steemit. I also find time to have a rest of about a minimum of 30 minutes during the day...... for people who have to sleep late because of certain things should find ways to adjust their sleeping habit to accommodate them sleep at night rather than sleeping during the day.

√ Practicing personal hygiene: personal hygiene like brushing teeth, bathing and hand washing is essential for preventing the spread of germs and maintaining overall health. After using the toilet I wash my hands with soap under running water. And also after handling pets or dirts, I wash my hands also. I bath at least 2 times a day and brush my teeth 2 times a day (morning and evening).

√ Food preparation and preservation: The key for food safety is food preparation and preservation. It starts with cleaning the hand and surfaces, wash items thoroughly, and to cook food with proper temperature. Proper storage of food is also a necessary thing for preventing the spread of food borne illnesses. I preserve my food using possible means such as drying, freezing, roasting and the rest of them.

Conclusion

In summary, maintained family/individual health is complex and consists of different aspects. From diet to exercise to personal hygiene, mental health and water consumption. When individuals or families take up the action to prioritize their healthy lifestyle it can produce a positive impact on their overall well-being.

The wellbeing of every family depends on how they take care of them selves and I am very happy that you and your family are doing so.

Late night sleep is not good at all amd it's best we sleep very early like you said in your post that you sleep around 9 pm which is good to hear because lack of sleeping is not good for us at all.

You are a sports man and I really like it, and eating of balance diet and having a quality sleep and most importantly taking good care of yourself self by practicing person hygiene.
